Excellent location, near to all strategic places in the area. Also very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly, available for any need and supportive, notably the property owner, Mohammed. He took us to see the blue light at the beach during the evening and arranged our sea cruise to watch the dolphins.

Salem was the best host of our entire Oman trip. He brought us to see rescued turtles and blue tears. It was magical seeing thousands of dolphins on his boat ride. He personally made karak tea for us. When we needed his help he was always there. He had lots of tips to explore the area eg the pink beach. Dinner was a wonderful spread. We had the best briyani in the whole of Oman. Fish and prawns were very fresh. Staff was very friendly and lovely. He also has a very affectionate cat that needs a lot of attention.

The Chalet is directly on the beach and you can walk around barefoot. Our host delivered the dinner to us, as well as the breakfast, which was both pretty great. We saw some plankton light in the evening, which was exciting. Definitive bonus: the bathtub with a view!
