Amazing hidden gem! Very friendly staff, breakfast included in the price, and a beautiful pool (but cold in late September). Many activities like ping pong, billiards and chess, and great sunset.

We had an amazing time at A Padaria. The farmhouse is so peaceful and thoughtfully put together. Maria is an excellent host with wonderful recommendations and great to chat to.The breakfast was amazing!!!

The house is very spacious and worked well size-wise for 6 people. The terrasse is spectacular, and the pool area was great. The house was clean and we got a change of towels and bed sheets midway through which was nice.

Everything!!! From the host to the location! We were welcomed by our host Marta, we had complimentary cheese and fresh fruit from the trees! The property is a little gem in the country side. We stayed in the 2 bed house! Fully equipped with all the necessities you need! We loved our stay and were sad to leave! Highly recommended!

We had a group of 5 couples for a week and the stay was very comfortable. It never felt crowded. Each bedroom has a bathroom and beautiful views of the Douro valley. The pictures do not do the property justice. It is absolutely amazing. There is hiking right at your doorstep. There are fruit trees on the property including oranges, pears, goose berries, figs, grapes, kiwis and pomegranate’s depending on season all over the property. We relaxed by the pool every afternoon soaking in the incredible views and had dinner outside each evening which easily accommodated the 10 of us. It was also fun to playing his collection of vinyl and CD’s. We also enjoyed the pool table. We had Paula the recommended chef that came in to make us meals on 2 nights. The food was amazing and Paula was great to deal with. She explained her dishes and was even willing to give cooking lessons. Finally, Victor and Sylvia were wonderful We can’t say enough great things about this house and the staff.

The view is relaxing, the infinity sweeping pool is amazing and there are good cocktails by the bar next to it. I took a massage , and it was professional.

The location is beautiful and the views are stunning. Nice size house plus it's own swimming pool .... bbq also included! It was a beautiful setting, especially during sunset.
