The highlight of all is Elephants, not accommodation. Our room is riverside but we got the room not so good as other room is nicer, more decorated. In our room is no decorative at all. It’s quite sad. The shower room too big with nothing in it. No refrigerator , no water glasses or coffee cup.

The hotel its in the middle of the jungle! Elephants are really close and full nature is all around. The river close to the property is amazing and there is a few good activities to do.

The elephants coming at breakfast and we also booked the elephant half day experience with the hotel the next day which was amazing. It is a real sanctuary where the elephants have been rescued from logging, but they are really well cared for and loved by the owners and people that work there. The property also books your transport from your hotel in Chiang Mai to the property which makes things really easy.

Exceptional experience staying with the White Karen people at Lazy Mango Homestay. The entire experience was magical, from the friendly reception of packs of dogs and cats to the daily visits from the mahouts and their elephant pals! You can feel here that care and love for animals are pure and without any ill will. Cha and the entire team made our stay amazing! The included dinner and breakfast was delicious and our room was clean and neat.

Amazing breakfast deliver to your sweat and romantic hut, beautifully set in the jungle itself. Everything is homemade, super tasty and fresh, you can tell! Also the staff was prepared to answer our questions and manage all of our bookings with diligence and a smile. We recommend people to engage with the activities offered at the homestay because not only it helps support the elephants and the local communities, you also get to see their culture in action: we visited a village, a waterfall, had a river side lunch made inside bamboo sticks and got to walk and bath elephants after learning about them. Hua was a great tour guide and as a local himself shared meaningful information about their traditions, language and life context. We are very grateful with everyone involved in this worthy and loving project. Do not miss it people!

A cute home stay in a terrifically picturesque location with a hospitable host who also happens to be an excellent cook! My partner and I greatly enjoyed our time here high up on the mountain. There’s something very unique about this homestay. You feel very much transported into nature. There are also good dinner options available nearby - we highly recommend the nearby Italian restaurant called Mr Dees. Everyone in the immediate vicinity was highly welcoming and the constant pretty natural sights makes this homestay a memorable and cosy place to stay.
