Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Knysna

We very warmly and cordially welcomed by Mandy who showed us around the property and gave us restaurant recommendations. The B&B itself is a true gem. Settled on the hill with outstanding views that you can enjoy while having a good hearty breakfast. Or, like us, book room number 9, a bedroom with Terrasse where you can lie in bed and overlook the town due to a balcony door. You can reach grocery stores and restaurants by foot; safe during the day. At night we took an uber back from the waterfront for 50 Rand. WiFi was great.

The spaciousness of the home was great for us to not feel crammed in a hotel suite with our son. The views were so spectacular that we enjoyed the back deck during the day and night!

The welcome and hospitality was on high level. The cleanliness and the facilities in the room was great. Security wise as well was nice. very convenient and close to town.

What a beautiful Cosy place to stay, friendly staff and the place is neat and tidy and very clean. They are super helpful. I loved our stay at B my guest and definitely would go back and also recommend it to others, my family and I really enjoyed it.

Very nice and cozy accommodation. Well equiped and comfortable, suitable for longer stays. Internet is good for remote work with decent speed. Beautiful views from the terrace. One of the best accommodations on our journey.

The open spaces, felt like home. Had everything we needed on a daily basis.

I had such a blessed holiday at this property, with great value for money and perfectly located. The area is also very ssfe and great for morning walks. The very friendly host Jamie, really made sure that we are comfortable. We definitely found our home away from home.

Situated in town, but in a part of Knysna that is still wild; it's a wonderful slice of nature with an exceptional indigenous garden. Kheli and Yogesh are friendly and welcoming guests.

Perfect location. The room had a great view. We enjoyed the onsite restaurants, the kids play areas, and the hikes down to the beach (fisherman's walk).

An incredibly well-decorated apartment with extremely hospitable hosts. Tina and Mel are seriously taking care of their guests. My mother was amazed that nothing was missing in this apartment. The attention to detail is outstanding, both regarding the beauty of the inside of the apartment and the functionality of it. The apartment is also very well located extremely close to a nice walking path along the lagoon and also within walking distance of the quays/ waterfront of Knysna.

We loved everything about this place, so much so that we extended our stay by two nights and found leaving to be actually painful. The apartment was beautiful, with everything we needed to cook and make a fire, and though it was winter we didn’t ever close the doors to the lagoon. Sunrise is a festival of seabirds and sunset is lovely, and it’s really fun to watch the tide come in and out so dramatically. The staff is fantastic and the shared garden is private and peaceful. This was a perfect guesthouse experience. Somehow it affords absolute privacy but you also feel like you’re a part of a family while you’re here. Can’t recommend it enough if you’re coming to Knysna (and if you’re not you should consider it so that you can stay here).
