I had an amazing stay at Flying Dutchman Hostel in Varanasi. The hostel is very clean, comfortable, and located just a short walk from Assi Ghat, making it perfect for exploring the city. The dorms and rooms are well maintained, the beds are comfortable, and the common areas have a great backpacker vibe. The staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. They assisted with local recommendations, boat rides, and places to visit around Varanasi. The atmosphere is social and welcoming, making it easy to meet fellow travelers from different countries. The hostel is peaceful at night, yet close to cafes, ghats, and all the major attractions. The garden area and common spaces create a relaxing environment after a day of exploring the city. If you are a solo traveler, backpacker, or even a group of friends visiting Varanasi, I highly recommend Flying Dutchman Hostel. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Varanasi.

Let’s start with host , an excellent person with utmost dedication to make your trip successful. A heartfelt Thank you for that. The location is excellent just 100 meters from east side parking to Taj Mahal and from this parking the golf cart will take you to entry gate for 25 INR and that service is quite fast. The rooms were clean and bed wad comfortable. The king size room was best choice for us as a family of 4.

Everything; the room was comfortable, the bathroom wasn’t small, very good internet connection and above all the owner was non chalant.( I can’t imagine how many ask him the same questions and yet he doesn’t over do it, just answering with a smile.

The family that runs this hotel is very courteous, accommodating and kind, making sure your ever need is taken care of. Our rate included breakfast and dinner, and the meals were hearty, plentiful and delicious. Location was perfect - on a quiet street and walking distance to Taj Mahal.
