The location is unbeatable. It is situated exceptionally close to Vishwanath temple, making it easy to explore the local sights, shops, and restaurants on foot.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the extraordinary hospitality of the owner - Shivendra ji. He was incredibly helpful with every request, even assisting with local transport arrangements and ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

When we got back to buy tickets told they stopped selling tickets to foreigners 20 minutes ago. When we came back in afternoon, we were told that foreigners last entry was 30 minutes ago! At least we had not bought the ticket!!

The temple is good and all, but the management and security...
The temple is good and all, but the management and security at the temple is terrible. There are very long queues and terribly managed at that. There is a special gate with paid entries (INR 250 per head) which supposedly reduce your time to entry in the temple, but it's so badly managed that the place to get the tickets is far off the queue to join for it, without any clear instructions or sign boards about it. There is hardly any provision for leaving behind your belongings outside your temple, and you're left to manage something yourselves. Even this "fast" paid line got us inside the temple in a total of 2 hours. This temple management seems more concerned about collecting money in the name of faster darshan, special pooja options etc, than better facilitating the convenience and safety of pilgrims.

Non Hindus are no longer allowed in the temple so find out whether this is still the case before trying to get in. Also, the place is now supposed to be extremely ugly with modern pink marble everywhere at the insistence of the Prime Minister, Modi. We stood in line for twenty minutes before being told we would not be allow in.

Again temple is beautiful but the crowd, pushing around, fighting to do the pooja is not worth it. People step on you to get ahead. Plus selling all that flowers and Prasad which just gets thrown away, so depressing to see.

Beautiful place, get a official govt guide to take you there, dont book on the website for any pooja;s, Tell you guide what you need doing and they will organise everything for you. The priests doing the pooja's will still demand money after the pooja but be fine and refuse, keep your guide with you at all times.
Get the fast track with your guide otherwise there are massive que's.

This hotel seemed perfect for a family stay due to its excellent location and service, it is a very comfortable place for both children and the elderly. Our room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfortable and we really appreciated the hotel's amenities. We were able to easily visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple as well as all the other major temples and ghats. We received the services we needed, staff was helpful. This hotel is suitable for all types of travelers.

Amazing stay at Tribe Sutra Backpackers, Varanasi.
The hostel has a great vibe for solo travelers and backpackers. The location is perfect, very close to Manikarnika Ghat and Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Rooms were clean, and the common area was a nice place to meet other travelers. The owner was friendly and helpful.
Overall a great budget stay in Varanasi. Highly recommended for solo travelers.

My room was with a balcony with the view of the Ganges
Walking distance to the Kashi Vishwanath temple.
Manikarnika Ghat is the next ghat .

The hostel is such a piece of art. The stay was amazing,the beds and dorms are great and comfortable. The terrace had special attention of chilling. Staff were amazing and accomodating. The location is near from Kashi Vishwanath temple. The location is best. The personnel were so nice and helpful. It's value for money. I highly recommend staying here and will continue to come back everytime I am in Varanasi
