ItalyThe location, right outside Sami in an apartment that is way bigger than the average available stay in Sami. In addition, the balcony: so ample, lovely and cozy, and with such great view (mountain + sea + olive trees!) that we spend most of our time in the house outside!
Additional big plus: the cats!!! There were 3 newborns when we arrived, and they were unsufferably cute!!!

The views! From our room, from the pools, from the restaurant, from the hotel reception. Just spectacular.
How quiet it was. There seemed to be hardly any guests. The beautiful buildings and pools. The level of cleanliness - the staff who cleaned our rooms were exceptional.
The location (at the right end of the village for the best restaurants).
Very good grounds staff - keeping pools clean and beautiful flora and fauna.
We would definitely stay there again for these reasons.
It’s the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life.

The villa was in a great location for access to beaches and local villages, supermarkets and restaurants as well as short drive from Argostoli. It was very clean and modern and very well kept inside and out with cleaners and gardeners visiting every couple of days and the views were fantastic. It is a very private and peaceful place!

The location was the selling point of the villa. Garden was lovely and private. Pool well maintained.
Reported the beds being so hard leaving us with bad backs in the mornings but it was promptly dealt with when they provided a mattress topper.

Villa Mondola is in a great location. John and Mado are great hosts making our stay very relaxing. The villa has great views and is extremely comfortable.

The hotel is dated, but the location is amazing! Walk to everything in town, with spectacular views and amazing sunrises and sunsets!

The swimming pool was large, the water was clean and a lovely temperature. There were plenty of sun beds and parasols. The view was amazing and the location was also good to walk into the centre of Agia Effimia.

Amazing quiet place surronded by Olive Trees.
We loved that it was close to amazing beaches but it was in a quiet location.
Our room could fit 4 people easily but we were only 2. The balcony was huge and views are amazing.
Our host was there to greet us and she was very friendly.
I would recommend if you wanted to avoid the highly touristy areas in kefalonia.

Everything! The location is fantastic, the house is beautiful, the decoration and attention to detail from our host. Our host was super nice to pick me up at the port and literally drove me the extra mile to the house. She also left us a delicious bottle of local white wine and some nice nuts to accompany the wine. We felt so much at home, it was a great experience.

This was in a lovely, peaceful location with stunning views of the mountains and down to the sea at Argostoli Harbour. The apartment had everything we needed and was immaculately clean and comfortable. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful.There is a lovely cafe about 5 minutes walk away and a bakery nearby as well. This was one of the best places we have stayed in and we are very likely to make a return visit.

Outstanding location. The Eleni cottage was set in private grounds which were filled with many types of fruit trees. The outlook from the balcony over towards Zakinthos was wonderful.

The location is stunning, and the hotel, set as it is literally on a cliff face, gives wonderful views of the bay. There is parking on site. Breakfast was varied and substantial, offering hot food, typical Greek sweets, cakes and pies, cereals, fruit, juices and hot drinks.
