Places to Stay in Monemvasia

The breakfast offered a great variety and was much appreciated. Great way to start the day! Perhaps our favorite thing about this hotel was the location! Great spot, stunning views, across from access to swimming with a pier and ladder, first stop when you cross the bridge and literally next to the Old Town!! Highly recommend staying here!

This is a uniquely beautiful location and property, located on a bay looking toward Monavasio, fishing fleet and sailboats nearby, wonderful hospitality and amenities.

The house was located in a quiet place really near Monemvasia. The garden was big and really peacefull. The kids enjoyed the house specially the garden and the pool. It's also great to have 3 bathrooms. Owners were flexible for departure and arrival time. There was enough space to Park our 3 cars.

Location was amazing. Staff were super nice. Rooms were huge! Beds were good. Balconies were beautiful. Views were awesome. Breakfast was very tasty!

Such a beautiful experience staying at Malvasia Traditional Hotel. The room was lovely with a stunning view from the balcony. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. The location is perfect - staying in Monemvasia is a real unique experience.

Great view of port,waterfront.Friendly staff.Great location in port,right at bus stop and causeway to Monemvasia.Shops and restaurants and bars,bakeries and supermarkets easy short walk. We were upgraded from double to triple room,more space.Thankyou staff and Booking.

The view of the sea and the beauty feeling of having the place all to myself. It’s at the end of the island so you feel so away from the busy street life however is only a 3 minute walk to the busy area. It does get dark at night walking back so perhaps plan to use your phone for light at night.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean and well presented. The balconies had an amazing view.

It's a really unique experience to get to stay inside the walls of Monemvasia! The small apartment was perfect for my mother and I - with a loft bed, it was easy for me to sleep up there, and mom enjoyed the big bed. You have everything need for a day or two - small kitchenette, stocked with coffee, and a small outdoor table with chairs. The owners/managers have a traditional Greek deli where you pick up the keys and I highly recommend spending some time and money there. They have so many amazing local products and you feel very much like family when you enter. We enjoyed it so much!

Magical location and place to stay! The fact that we could stay in such a historic location was so special! I called it our "hobbit house" due to the cute small entry. Well-equipped and comfortable. We stayed in late March and the wildflowers were amazing, especially up in the upper village, which is worth the many steps up all the way to the church at the top. The owners were very nice and friendly. Fotini is featured in Rick Steves book for her products in her store! We bought several items.

Μοναδική εμπειρία φιλοξενίας από τον ιδιοκτήτη Γιώργο. Ηταν διαθέσιμος να βοηθήσει όπως μπορεί. Το κατάλυμα ήταν σε βολικό σημείο δεν είχε καθόλου ανάβαση και ηταν ύπεροχο , άνετο κρεβάτι και μπαλκονακι με απίστευτη θέα . Είχα αμφιβολίες επειδή είδα κάποιες αρνητικές κριτικές αλλά δεν έχω τίποτα κακό να πω.
