The gorgeous fireplace in the living area was a wonderful end to my day. Betty took the time to make me feel so welcome, and I thoroughly recommend Kilcommon Lodge.

IrelandI got room 34 and it was excellent. I also had dinner booked for a party at 18:30 and each of us really enjoyed our meals and the staff were very friendly and helpful. For breakfast the next morning the food again was excellent and the staff were really bubbly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay.

The raw natural surroundings are simply breath taking and made it the perfect place to unwind and recharge.
The house itself is very clean, well maintained, and filled with positive energy, cosy, comfortable, and a wonderful escape from the city.
Special thanks to Tisha, the house cleaner, who is such a lovely and helpful person.
The welcome presents of wine and chocolate were a delightful surprise, very thoughtful and much appreciated.
We also loved the spaciousness of the house, the great fireplace, and the collection of books and board games, which made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable.
Being able to bring dogs was amazing,just as delighted as we were!
Communication with the owner was prompt and supportive, which made everything smooth and stress-free.
All in all, this is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for rest, relaxation, and nature at its finest. We would happily return!.

United StatesBrían was so easy to communicate with in advance of my arrival, sent me tips for getting there, and was waiting with a hearty hello. I could not have felt more welcome. He was so kind and responsive throughout my 3-week stay, including setting up a desk by the front window when he learned I needed to work while there, and making sure I had a clear view to the beautiful inlet and field with new lambies across the road! The Den was perfect for me as a solo traveler, with a well-equipped kitchen, great bathroom with large shower, very comfy bed, lots of books including local history and lore, and many sweet touches. I loved being able to walk out the door for walks along the inlet and bog roads, and being only a short drive from stunning coastal walks and Neolithic and Early Christian sites. And Brían and Orla could not have been lovelier; getting to know them a bit was a gift. I can't recommend The Den highly enough!!

Have stayed in the Broadhaven many times and have always thoroughly enjoyed my visit. This time was no different. Lovely hotel in an excellent location with very friendly staff.

Great location, really clean, comfortable beds. All towels were provided, and the apartment had a great hairdryer we could use. Super easy to check in / check out. Good storage in rooms, loads of hangers in the wardrobe.

It is a special place, beautiful location and run well.The kind of place your heart slows a bit and let's you breathe that bit deeper. Not sure if that is because of the atmosphere in the place which must come from Betty the owner, the beautiful animals in the place, the beautiful location, but it is probably a combination of all these things and more. A truly welcoming place, with everything it does not just cos it says it is.

This place is located at a wonderful location, traveling there will take you on roads never seen. The host Betty I think is such a lovely person that makes you feel right at home. I had parking for my car, I could walk down to the local pub and enjoy a pint at a great price. The facilities were neat and very clean. The place gives you something complimentary and you can only find out when you visit!
