Nice owner, easy check-in, beautiful cozy interior, well sized bathroom an kitchen, pellet oven worked great. We will be back for a longer stay.

There were six beds total so plenty of room for all of us. The location was beautiful with horses bordering the property. The outside area was lovely and it is clear the guests worked hard to make this family friendly.

Tidy, cute little three bedroom house. Four beds ( two double, two single), living room, kitchen with dining room, bathroom with shower. Simply lovely. Close to a small grocery store in the town. Cereal, milk, tea, coffee, basics to cook provided. Punch in the EIR code sent to you by the host and it delivers you right to the front door.

I stayed at Orchid Mews for two nights over the weekend while taking part in a local marathon, and it was absolutely perfect. The setting is incredibly peaceful—ideal for relaxing and recharging after a long run. The family who runs it are so warm and welcoming, which really added a personal touch to the stay. The facilities are spotless and very comfortable, with everything you could need for a short break. I’d definitely recommend Orchid Mews to anyone looking for a quiet, friendly place to stay near Castletown Geoghegan.

Bernie the owner of the B&B was so helpful from start to finish. She accommodated me and my wife who had to travel from Donegal by allowing us to check in early and rest before we had to headed off to the wedding venue nearby. She organized prior to our staying a Hair Salon location for my wife to use, plus also provided me with taxi numbers to get to the wedding venue. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable, plus we had a lovely breakfast prior to our departure. I highly recommend the French toast with bacon, it was fab 🙂. Would highly recommend to anyone and if we're ever up that part of the country again, we will definitely giving Bernie another shout. Great value for money and easy access in and out of the town.
