Places to Stay in Chiusi

We loved our room. It was so beautiful, we also had a great view of the gardens. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was so friendly! Arianna and Lara were amazing. Borgo Dolciano exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect tuscan getaway. We can't wait to come back.

This adorable apartment is 2 minutes' walk from the Chiusi train station. The owner has a restaurant called Seasons (delicious and reasonable!) about a minute from the apartment. Likely you will meet him there to get keys and pay tax. The apartment is small, with a queen bed on the ground floor and a double mattress in the loft. It has the BEST bathroom! Lots of towels, huge shower. AC unit works great. Has a television. Has a washer/dryer combo machine that is easy to use. Medium refrigerator, stove top, well-appointed little kitchen. Dining table with chairs and a comfy sofa under the stairs. Closets are in the wall. Safe located in one of the closets. Terrific walking area, and there is a car rental right across from the station. I will stay here again when in Chiusi!

Great location and very nice owner

Everything about Villa Alari was perfect. The Villa and room were very charming, exactly what we envisioned Tuscany to be. We would stay again and recommend anyone to stay here. Room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The owner was attentive, explained everything perfectly and helped us with dinner reservations. 2 thumbs up

The location and the architecture

The proximity to the main road,climatization, cleanless,very good breakfast,at last but the vestiti was the staff.

We stayed here one night. The host was very welcoming and nice. We checked in late after landing in Rome, and we needed to find a place to eat. The host helped us find an open restaurant and told us how to get there (even with limited English). The breakfast was really good and a perfect way to start the day!

Villa Il Patriarca is an elegant but relaxed gem in the heart of Tuscany. Staff is friendly, beds/rooms are comfy, breakfast is exceptional, the Taverna on site has delicious food and the grounds are beautiful.

Some places stay with you long after you leave. Macciangrosso is one of them. The setting is breathtaking: rolling hills, cypress trees, vineyards, olivd trees, the kind of landscape you think only exists in paintings until you're actually standing in it. But what truly makes Macciangrosso exceptional are the people who run it. Warm, genuine, and deeply proud of what they've created, they make you feel less like guests and more like family. Nothing feels transactional here - every interaction carries a generosity of spirit that is increasingly rare. The accommodation itself is immaculate, peaceful in the truest sense of the word, and beautifully integrated into the landscape. Mornings here feel like a privilege. We have traveled quite a bit, but we can say without hesitation that this is the most beautiful and peaceful place we have ever stayed. Tuscany is stunning everywhere, but Macciangrosso sits at its heart in a way that is completely its own. If you are looking for rest, beauty, authenticity, and the feeling that time has slowed down just enough to actually enjoy life - come here. You will not want to leave.

The host met us at the property to provide keys and an introduction to the villa and all of its wonderful amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the exterior of the property - the current photos don't do it justice! We loved exploring down to the gardens and orchard of olive trees. The rooms were downstairs and main living upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfast and we made dinner one night too. It was lovely to relax on the patio upstairs and lounge on the lawn too. The location on the edge of Chiusi was perfect - away from people, but close by to restaurants. It far exceeded my expectations based on the limited photos on this listing. Would happily stay again if we are lucky enough to return to Tuscany.

Owners were wonderful and gracious. Chuisi is charming- almost no tourists (except us 😉) and garden was so relaxing as this was our first at stop after 24 hours of traveling.

Great location, clean place and fully equipped … kitchen, washing machine and dryer, laundry and dish soap, lots of rags which make cleaning up after ourselves easier. Ideal place for a family or group of 4-5. Bonus: we were on top of the hill and the best views of the mountains, valleys, sunsets. Katya, the owner, is lovely, helpful and customer-service oriented. The bus stop is just a few meters from the apartment.
