What a gorgeous escape and magical place, tucked away on an Italian island. The ferry was fun, even in the rain, and it was a great adventure with my parents, who have stayed here a few times. I paid less than they did, so they had a fantastic corner view of the lake room, which I recommend. My room was comfortable, clean, and private, and the bathroom was spacious, unlike others I encountered during my trip. I truly enjoyed the three nights here, and the local shops/kiosks and meandering streets/paths are delightful. The restaurant at the hotel is a gem: our fish dishes were so yummy, and the service was good. This is perfect for a special occasion. +I wanted to buy and eat everything!

Located in Streza, wonderful little town, close to all amenities. The accommodation meets the expectations. The room was clean and comfort. The breakfast is buffet and various. Private parking. Staff are friendly.

Nice small town on the Lago di Maggiori. Cozy and renovated rooms

Amazing location, right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening, having a wine and looking down on the restaurants and beautiful street. Stresa is a lovely charming town with plenty of restaurants, shops, couple of bars and laid back vibe. The staff in the hotel were great, so friendly and accommodating. We ended up staying an extra night as we were having such a good time. Breakfast was grand, fresh fruit, croissants etc. Staff worked very hard. My room was clean, spacious and a lovely big shower. I think I had one of the newer or renovated rooms. My friend was in the room next door and hers was lovely too but just a bit dated compared to mine. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back.

Great location - meters away from the pier ,where boats to Isolla Bella depart. 15 minutes very nice walk to the centre of Stresa. Room with balcony was great view to the lake. Breakfast was with good variety.

We had lots of questions about transportation to nearby sites, quality of a cooking class, best times and ways to take the ferry, location of the library and more. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable about everything. They ordered a taxi to take us to the train station when we left. They kindly and generously modified one of the breakfasts. We wanted to stay longerr!

Location was close to heart of beautiful Stresa. Host, Fredrico was very gracious and helpful with local information, including guidance to see local travel agency to plan for last minute train ride changes needed to make connections timely to Milan; this because of repair work being done on train lines. The morning breakfast was fabulous.

The small hotel was perfect for us. Immaculate, very kind staff, great location 5 minutes from train station. If you are looking for small European hotel, this is it.

Well our room we booked actually had a problem with the toilet so we werent able to stay at the actual hotel. However they kindly gave us an upgrade to a lakeside apartment with views. It had everything and was very nice. Breakfast back at the hotel was very simple consisting of 1 croissant, coffee, and orange juice. Very nice staff

A wonderful place to stay in stresa, so handy to everything. Cute attic studio, very comfortable, clean and great location. Loved hearing all the buzz from the square below. Great being meet at the car parking area and shown to accomodation. Perfect for visiting the area. Thank you for having us.

This is a lovely apartment in a great location. You are less than 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, a bus stop, a supermarket, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment itself is great. Everything is clean, well maintained and all the basics are provided including good quality bedding and towels. The bed folds away but it's a king size, comfortable mattress and we actually left it down during our stay as there is plenty of room. The terrace is great, a sun trap but a large parasol is provided. Giuliano is a fantastic host. he really wants to make sure everything is done for you to be able to have a good holiday. We would love to return.

This lovely apartment is just perfect. It is new, clean, stylish, awesome location the central old section of Stresa and yet quiet and private. It really is ideal! Giorgio, the gist is the kindest person and extremely attentive and very personable. There is not one thing I would change about the property or our 3 day experience! My husband and I will be back as it was really well suited for 2 people.
