The property is both beautiful and rugged. I didn’t know all the details before I arrived, but was really happy to leave my car down the trail, hike up to my cabin with what I needed, and enjoy the peace, and the beautiful view. It’s like “glamping,” as there’s no TV or WiFi, but the bathroom and shower are clean and great, the little ea station is fully stocked, and there’s everything you’d need or want to enjoy the time there.

We loved just about everything. The location was wonderful - just a short walk to the restaurants. The kitchen was fully equipped - the bedrooms had more than enough drawers and closet space which seems to be unusual for hotels and apartments. The private garage was fantastic as opposed to looking for street parking. The patio/balcony was a plus especially on a warm evening. The whole ambiance was 1st class.

The Yha is located nicely in Nelsons city centre near a large collection of different cafes, clothing stores, restaurants, etc. it's nice and quiet in the evenings. And is equipped with a large kitchen dining area and lounge. The staff were kind, helpful and more than happy to answer any questions. Overall it's a great place to stay with an affordable price and I would stay here again.

Paulina has created magic place for her guests. It is really nice, cozy villa with unique character. Our room was extremally clean, spacious and comfortable with lovely outdoor space, direct access to garden and beautiful view. This place is also in handy location, you can easily walk to city center. We stayed for 3 nights and for sure we will come back.

This was a great place to stay. The host was very helpful and friendly. Our room had everything we needed including lovely little courtyard at the back. It was very clean and had on site laundry facilities.The room was also completely set up for disabled. Location was also good - just a short distance to restaurants and shops. My room had a balcony overlooking a tidal river. The bathroom had a heated floor and a jet tub, bath salts provided. The balcony door opened and there was a window that opened too. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. Central location within walking distance of downtown and several interesting sites, like the Queen’s Garden.

What a lovely stay, the room was immaculate and very homely. Comfortable bed, great bathroom and shower. The property is a bush setting but very close to downtown nelson. Paulina is so lovely and helpful, she had a list of things to do and places to eat in the area. Would highly recommend.
