All staff we interacted with were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotels location was great for travelling into Galway town with a bus stop outside the building.

The property was exceptionally clean and offered a peaceful atmosphere. It was incredibly convenient for day trips to the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands. Near a fantastic little town and pub!

It was so fun staying in the yurt. Really spacious inside and with a lovely deck around it with furniture for relaxing in the sun or shade. Enjoyed the story the host left on how they came to build this special place for others to stay in. We were amazed at how much room there is inside and how well it was set up for comfort. It was well equipped for cooking a meal or just relaxing in the living room playing a game or watching TV. It is really a great place to stay.

We wanted to say to Mary a big ‘Thank You’ for a very comfortable and pleasant stay we had at Country Haven. The breakfast was amazing as was the room itself. Mary seemed to have thought of everything a person may potentially need while traveling and staying overnight with you. My husband has been working in the tourist industry for over 25 years and he mentioned that any private host that does business on Booking or AirB&B should come there for an internship ;). Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.
