CanadaWe chose Lucignano for our stay because we had visited Tuscany before and wanted the experience of a smaller village. It turned out to be the perfect solution to the busyness of Tuscany. The apartment was excellent. High-end fixtures, lots of space, a very comfortable bed, and chairs in the living room we wanted to bring home. The kitchen was compact and very practical, we loved how we could hide it away behind folding doors. The AC was top notch - given our other experiences on our trip this one was so great - not loud and perfectly controlled. We think that the designer had a lighting background because the lighting was sooooo good! If you’re looking for an extremely comfortable (and affordable!) stay away from the hustle that you can come home to and sink into luxury with a lovely bottle of wine this is your spot! Special note - the villagers were very welcoming and over our 3 day stay, we felt at home.

Wow! Every part of our stay was perfect! The communication before our arrival, the check in process, our room, the breakfast, the location - every part of our stay was perfect. Alessio communicated ahead of our stay and helped to make our stay so comfortable. The room was absolutely modern in every way in a building that is ancient. The location is perfect - near the restaurants and the city center. I highly recommend Palazzo del Mercante!

The property is perfectly located in Montepulciano and an ideal place to stay for those looking for two double bedrooms each with its own bathroom. It was steps to restaurants, overlooked a private garden for the sole use of the guests and had a secure car park right in the property (very rare). Davide, our host, went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and even booked restaurants for us. This is the perfect location so handy to everything southern Tuscany offers. We recommend the apartment as a 10 out of 10

Great and very modern room in a great location! Right in the city center. Easily accessible by foot! Parking options not too far away. The host Leonardo was very welcoming and helpful with any questions that we had. We had an amazing stay! The bed was super comfortable.

It was the best accommodation I’ve ever been to! Lucia is a very kind and helpful person. The location is perfect! The city center of Montepulciano is reachable within a walking distance and the neighborhood is very silent and you can definitely relax here and enjoy the view. It’s close to other beautiful tuscanian towns like Pienza or Siena. Also, the breakfast was delicious and it was great to eat some Italian ham and cheese. I’m definitely coming back here in the near future!

The best accommodation we ever had. From the beginning to the end of our stay, everything was perfect - the apartment, the place and especially the hospitality. In the morning the breakfast was made from local products from the farm. The apartment was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It is the best place to stay in Tuscany.

Amazing place, new and comfy rooms. Wi-Fi connection was perfect - both in rooms and garden. lovely breakfast- Italian style but they make you eggs on request. Very friendly staff, they let us hang on around the pool after the checkout. The location is very convenient- walking distance to the historic city centre. Definitely recommended!

This property is in an amazing Palazzo in a fantastic location. It was a very special place to stay, for a great price. All the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. We arrived a bit early but there was no problem with checking in. It is very spacious and clean, and had lots of windows for natural light.

Cannot speak highly enough of this B&B. Stunning location and views, wonderful breakfast, friendly hosts and so much attention to detail was given to the room. I would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend this place to stay. The distance from town was walkable and made sure it was a nice quiet place to stay which was great for relaxing and unwinding.
