The decor from the wallpapers to the tiles, and from the design of the onsen to the gardens are impeccable. The meals were also excellent. The hospitality of the staff, in particular Kumi-San and Megumi-San, was also a highlight.

Facilities were new and in order, there even was a washing machine for use. Able to whip up a small meal for the family right in the room. Parking was just at the doorstep which made it very convenient. The bathroom was huge. Very suitable location for family stay.

Great place to stay in Takachiho. We arrived much later than anticipated due to the roads to Takachiho, but the owner went out of her way so we would be able to check in and get to shower and eat before the doors closed down.
The place has multiple restaurants and bars around, and a gas station. Convenience stores are pretty far, so don't count on those unless you are willing to drive for a few minutes.

Located in a beautifully preserved peaceful location, the accommodation is highly recommended for a stopover to explore the region. We appreciated the helpful staff with local tips.
Modern convenience, comfortable beds, spacious rooms and serene setting gave our family of four a great base to rest.
Visit Obi Machi for a true taste of Japan.

The room I stayed in was wonderful and spacious, and the view was exeptional. The staff were really friendly. Getting to the location from Miyazaki airport is quite easy, via bus or train.

2. Good location as it is in the heart of the downtown and is a 10-minute walk from the train station.
3. Sound proof is good as the hotel is just next to the main road.
4. A plastic bag is used to protect the TV remote control (supposed it is replaced for each guest)

The place was super great, it’s a shame we only stayed for a night. The fireplace really helped in keeping the room warm all night long. The staff was very helpful and accommodating (thanks for the eggs! ☺️). Recommended for those who’s looking for a peaceful, quiet and warm place to stay.

If you’re a surfer, the outdoor shower is a nice touch. Fridge is big.
