Beautiful property with everything you need for a great stay in Barichara. Nice pool, great restaurant, wonderful breakfast. Location is great with just a short walk up the hill to the main town square.

The atmosphere was great and peaceful, even though it was next to the road. The breakfast was delicious and complete. It reminded me of my country house when I lived in Medellin

What a wonderful place to stay when visiting Barichara. The property was a colonial charm surrounded by lush vegetation, ponds etc.. The restaurant and staff were great.

Breakfast was amazing. It was local cuisine with a very personal touch. Great options too. The rooms were very comfortable. The location was fantastic, 5 min walk into town. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Everything. It has a very relaxt vibe and staff is very helpful. Like the finca. We stayed in the Glamping part and that felt really special. Looking at the stars through the roof.

We stayed here twice during our trip to Colombia. The first time we were in the Suite with outdoor shower and private plunge pool for 4 nights. The room was huge and more than we really needed. We think the water and plants in the outdoor shower attracted some mosquitos as our second stay was in the junior suite and we didn’t see any mosquitos. The Junior Suite was also huge and had a more private outdoor sitting area whereas the Suite sitting area was right near reception so more people walking by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If we were to go to Barichara again, we would absolutely stay here but in the Junior Suite.

Awesome place! Really exceeded my expectations. I stayed 10 days and really didn’t want to leave. Amazing views, comfortable environment, very peaceful, excellent kitchen, beautiful cats, and mango trees.. so sometimes mangos for breakfast :)

Absolutely wonderful stay! The views are breathetaking! The room was spacious for 2 people and a big dog! The pool was refreshing. Paty and Don Alvaro were very attentive, and Paty really knows how to cook! The breakfasts are of great portion and delicious. On top of that, Paty really knows how to make a burger! The only issue was that we wished we could stay longer, because 2 nights was not enough in this wonderful place! Next time we are in Barichara, we know exactly where to stay. Thank you Paty and Don Alvaro for making our stay even more special!

Almost everything. Especially the very kind employee Kirian , who kept the house spotlessly clean, served delicious breakfast, minded the whims and needs of every guest and always had a beaming smile.

Barichara is a place one must definitely visit in Colombia. I had expected to stay in a hotel in Barichara, but decided instead to stay in this hotel in Guane. This was a really good decision! Guane is 20 minutes past Barichara, at the end of the paved road. Very few tourists come here, so it is very tranquil, with even more charm than Barichara. Misia Custodia Hotel Boutique is the perfect place to stay here.

What a beautiful property. Everything was amazing. The hotel is just perfect. My room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was warm and friendly, and always ready to help with whatever i needed. The location was great, just two blocks away from the main square. Breakfast was the same as most Colombian places, but very well prepared. Wifi worked great all the time. The property has a very stately and historic feel to it. The pool was great for cooling down after hiking the camino real. I met the owner as i was leaving and he took the time to say hello, chat for a while and give me some history of the hotel.
