The hotel is a total experience, the restaurants are amazing, the view the polos, the staff, very kindly and always trying to help!!! If you came to Luxor, you should come to relax and have an amazing time in an amazing place. This hotel is a total dream!!

The welcoming by the staff was refreshing after a long trip, I was friendly received and my room was immaculate and no ask was too small for the staff. They went out of their way to make it my home away from home! Pool attendance was super relaxed with staff catering for all your needs. I'll not think twice about staying again!

Excellent hotel in an unbelievable location! Felt like a really relaxing hotel with great amenities. Staff were also lovely and very helpful. The outside space will take your breath away overlooking the nile and i like that you can use the spa pool as well which is a bit quieter. Food and drink was also a reasonable price. Possibly the best hotel we stayed at Egypt.

The staff here is friendly and courteous. They even made me a breakfast box for my early morning leave at checkout. The location is very safe and central. The rooftop pool is a nice addition.

We had a wonderful time there and enjoyed it immensely. The owner was very attentive and gave us a warm welcome. Everyone was incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home.

The highlight of our stay at Malkata House was undoubtedly Seed's hospitality. He and the chef looked after us exceptionally well throughout our four-night stay and genuinely made us feel welcome and comfortable. The property itself is beautifully decorated in a traditional Arabic style, with plenty of seating areas spread across different floors where guests can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We loved spending time in these communal spaces. The staff were also very accommodating when I asked about laundry. As a family of five, I had a full bag of washing and didn't want to be charged per item. The staff kindly agreed to wash the entire bag for USD 10, which I thought was very reasonable. After long days sightseeing in the heat, it was a huge help. The location is excellent for exploring the area. It is only a five-minute walk from the fascinating Medinet Habu, and from the rooftop and upper floors you can enjoy views towards the Valley of the Kings. Our children especially enjoyed cooling off in the pool every day. Overall, Malkata House offers warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and a wonderfully peaceful escape from the crowds.

Location is great. So is their breakfast spread. Views are amazing. Rooms are kept spotless and the team goes above and beyond.

Excellent location on the banks of Nile with superb bar abd restaurants! The rooms are clean though a bit old. The food and surroundings are excellent!

We booked four different accommodations in Egypt through Booking.com, and Magic Garden House was by far the best value for money. It’s a new place with great facilities — and yes, the hot shower actually works - unlike some places where you wait forever . The place feels truly exotic, with a beautiful veggie garden where you get to eat genuinely fresh produce. The host, Karim, was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The Egyptian breakfast was delicious — fresh flatbread, falafel, feta cheese, omelette, and more. A special mention to young Sayed, who took great care in serving the food and made sure everything was perfect every single time. I highly recommend having dinner at Magic Garden as well. Hands down, this was the best traditional food we had in Egypt — especially the soup and the tagine. We honestly should have taken Karim as our guide too. He’s a qualified Egyptologist and really knows his stuff. 10/10 for Magic Garden. Would absolutely stay again. 🌿✨

Rooms were clean, staff was very helpful and polite, food and sunset on the rooftop are absolutely amazing! Also the location of the hotel is good to walk around the street market and close to Luxor temple. We had an amazing time!

This cruise is very well designed with ample space, allowing guests to relax in different areas of the ship. Even during the Christmas peak season, it never felt overcrowded. The deck space is excellent, and the views—especially while sailing and during sunset—were simply stunning. The staff are well trained, attentive, and eager to help, often going beyond expectations. The Christmas celebration was grand, reflected in the impressive variety of pastries and desserts prepared by the chef. Overall, the team did everything possible to ensure guests walked away with lasting, positive memories. Two experiences deserve special mention: 1️⃣ Room Cleaning Staff The housekeeping staff member was incredibly creative, crafting beautiful towel art and playful creatures every day. It became a daily delight for our child and added a lot of joy to our stay. His artistry was truly exceptional (photos attached). 2️⃣ The Main Chef Once the chef learned about our preference for Indian vegetarian food, he went out of his way to prepare authentic, delicious dishes—at least one Indian veg option during both lunch and dinner, including daal, rice, and pulao. His food genuinely carried the magic of Indian flavors, and we felt completely spoiled. Initially, during check-in, the ship felt a bit gaudy and overly shiny, but the staff, food, and views quickly transformed this into an overwhelmingly positive experience. I would strongly recommend booking this cruise via Booking.com, as it offers pay-at-property and flexible cancellation. Local agents (based on my experience) demanded full upfront payment. We also got a special family dinner on the last day at the deck , as a complimentary upgrade. Alma Nile Cruise management—great job. Keep rocking!
