Everything with the stay was top notch. Our host went out of his way on numerous occasions and was very courteous and professional.

This place is Heaven on Earth! It is off the beaten track but well worth it! There is so much to see and do in this area! The food is amazing!

Excellent hosts, very nice buffet breakfast with plenty of coffee and juices around a big table were you get to chat to the other guests. We dined inhouse one night and the food was superb. Great swimming pool, much needed as temperatures were in 30s most days and we were cycling alot. Hosts had some maps and guides which were most helpful. Well located for exploring this part of the Dordogne with canoe rental 5 minute drive away, the canoe people bus you up river and you take as long as you like to make your way back down to starting point. Montfort village is a 5 min walk and has a small local pub serving great food and good selection of beers. Airconditioning was not required as building was always cool inside at night.

Such a unique and classic accommodation, in a remarkable renovated estate. Classic, French, country patina. Private entrance, great bed. Enchantingly beautiful native rock and stone interior. Gorgeous. Loved it!! Could not get WiFi while we were there, but not a big deal for us.

The cottage was equipped thoroughly and thoughtfully.

Great host who was friendly, helpful and most accommodating. She had great knowledge of the area and gave us great ideas for what to explore. Our bedroom and bathroom were a good size with a beautiful view. Breakfast was delicious! There was also a small refrigerator for our use in the kitchen area.

Well equipped and comfortable gite with a fun pool to use. Excellent sized comfortable beds with good shower and outdoor space for lounging in the sun. Short walk to the campsite shop and bar/cafe with pastries and bread to order for the morning. The location was great for exploring beautiful villages and towns nearby. We would stay again.

Beautiful property, recently renewed. The rooms were very confortable. And the service was great. Great location to explore area. The restaurant really good and the place where they serve you breakfast was lovely. Definitely want to return again.

The location of the property is excellent for exploring the Dordogne area, whilst enjoying all the comforts of a well-appointed home. Highly recommended.

The property is great, the pictures are 100% accurate. We love the fact that our dog could enjoy the place as well. The “gite” itself is super confortable - we slept really well there, additionally the jacuzzi is amazing! The location is perfect, everything is very close by car. We love to hear the birds in the mornings - this place is absolutely gorgeous.
