A Perfect Family Getaway in the Heart of Nature Our stay at the Crescent Family Resort in Sultan Bathery was fantastic. The property is truly beautiful, nestled among lush greenery and plantations, offering a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of the city

We had a great stay in the Elephant House. It is a very calming space. Away from the noise of the town, but at the same time not isolated. The host, Cheeku James and his family -Amma and his father were extremely warm. They helped out plan our trips to nearby tourist spots. Took us himself to show area around in the town. Available on the call and quick in response to anything we needed. We recommend his property for a comfortable and warm stay, particularly if one is looking to stay close to nature.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mount Xanadu, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best resorts in Wayanad. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional customer service that set the tone for a memorable stay. The staff at Mount Xanadu went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met, and their warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home. Our room had a breathtaking view facing the hills and the serene river, which made waking up each morning an absolute delight. The panoramic scenery was nothing short of picturesque, and we spent countless hours simply soaking it all in from our balcony. There’s something incredibly soothing about the gentle sounds of nature combined with the stunning landscape, making it a perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. What truly stood out was the cordiality and courtesy of the entire staff. Whether it was the front desk personnel, the restaurant team, or housekeeping, everyone was genuinely friendly and eager to assist. They not only addressed our requests promptly but also offered insightful recommendations for exploring Wayanad, enhancing our overall experience. The location & Ambience was gud. The host behaviour wasn't upto the behaviour to be a good host. We had booked on 12/9/25 for 8 people(Family room)which had 3 rooms & other amenities mentioned(attached pic). We were travelling on our bikes,reached by 9PM.When we reached they gave us 3 rooms - 3 double beds & extra beds with only 1 toilet cum bathroom for 8 people.We were 4 Men's & 4 Women's.When asked the host hw is it possible for all 8 ppl - 1 toilet provision.He said it was mentioned in the booking page.In booking reference it wsnt mentioned as one washroom for 3 rooms & as mentioned there is no private pools. For the whole property there is only one common pool. Instead of changing rooms,he kept asking us to pay additional 3K for attached washrooms(money mattered). Isn't it common 1Room cum toilet would be there. When told it's common provision provided by many hosts - he was arguing saying you didn't mention that you had Women's in your troop. When we have booked family rooms it can men's & women's too.If he had only 1washroom for 3 rooms,he should have informed the guests in before & also have also asked who are travelling along being a host. As we had arrived @9PM & check-out was @11AM next day.We didn't pay extra just for washroom.We used the common washroom near the pool as we were the only troop guest in the whole property. Coming to the food, it's not in-house prepared food.They get it from outside & they don't give you what you order.Their menu card is waste.Appam was Kerala parota,Plain ghee rice with no gravy to it,Chilly chicken Gravy for parato became pepper dry roast,2 qty of egg rice had no or 1 egg in it,2 chicken biryani bcm 1qty Mrng compliment Brkfst ws evn worse.Idli & Channa wsn't cooked,Appam ws the dosa.Food & hospitality was worse.Ambience alone doesn't get you good guests,hosting & food also matters.

The view was excellent. Apart from that the staffs, amenities, basically everything was very clean and up to our expectations.

Lovely getaway from Bangalore. Loved every bit of our stay and the hosts were warm and welcoming. The staff very friendly and courteous. Acres of greenery, plantations and serenity.

Ambience , lake by the side of large wooden cabins with balcony Excellent maintenance of garden pool excellent service, always smiling Excellent food n service at restaurant Jobish the Head of Hotel operations is very pleasing n always ar the location mostly to take care. Reception staff the lady n the guy from TN always attentive. Restaurant - Don is so smiling n at great service. Chef dishes r just yummy. The room cleaning staff are on dot they know what to do. Overall highly recommened place to stay between july to february .

Very quiet and relaxed location which suits an easy paced life.. the location is by the side of a dam reservoir. Special mention of the staff Ms Greeshma, at reception who was very sincere and hospitable and catered to each of our demands.
