It is considered one of the oldest hotels in the area and has hosted kings and several famous sports clubs. I stayed there for 4 nights in a deluxe room with a balcony, and the room size was excellent and spacious with a beautiful balcony view. There was no air conditioning, but my visit was in August 2025, and the evenings were cool. The hotel is conveniently located near Brunić, making it a suitable base for exploring northern Italy. The reception staff were cheerful and helpful. My booking included breakfast, which was fresh and delicious, even though the options were almost the same daily; I didn’t get bored with it. The restaurant staff, especially the 2 mens, were very kind and helpful, and I want to thank them very much for their kindness.

Spacious room, clean and well maintained.

The property exceeded our expectation. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The amenities made it next level. The breakfast buffet each morning was phenomenal. There are a few restaurants within walking distance but if you have a car like we did there are many towns within a short drive. Would stay here again next time we head this way.

Very friendly and helpful host. Parking in front of the appartment. Cozy and well equipped appartment. Heaters for the ski boots. Only 2 km from Kronplatz ski lift parking.

Apartment 9 on the 2nd floor is nice, clean and fully equipped, spacious enough for 4-6 people. The private garage is located in the basement of the building, from where luggage can be easily transported to the apartment by elevator. We enjoyed the view of the Kronplatz ski slope from the apartment. Claudia was waiting in the apartment and showed us the garage when we arrived. She was always helpful when we needed something.

Staff was very helpful to us. We had some questions about the area and they answered them. Our dinner at the hotel was very good. We enjoy a clean quiet location and we found just that at Hotel Krone.

Fantastic staff! Really delicious food! They even catered some of the food we wanted. Carbonara is soooooo good, and not on the menu!
