From the moment that you arrive, you are treated like family. The owner and especially his son, who spoke English were very accommodating, making sure that we knew everything about our rooms and the common area. They offered great suggestions on restaurants and sites in the nearby area. The pool, although cold, was refreshing.

We were surprised how much we liked Crotone. It happened to be on our way as we drove around the boot of Italy. Francesco was an amazing host. He is one of the kindest people we met on this trip. He got us last minute dinner reservations at a great place downtown. We rented the third floor room and it was beautiful. The ocean was a very short walk from the property. Francesco also helped us out with our agenda as we traveled on to Matera and beyond. He recommended a small but vibrant museum that really summarized the archaeology and history of Magna Graecia better than several other places we saw. He is a native of Crotone and we learned a lot from him. We look forward to coming back for a longer stay.

The room was nice and spacious, making for a very comfortable stay. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the property itself was absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the unique artwork throughout the hotel—it added a lot of character and charm. Easy parking in the on-site lot was also a big plus. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who warmly welcomed us and made us feel like family. Overall, it was a very personal and comforting experience, and we would happily stay again.

Don’t let the area fool you, this property is nice, well ran, super views, nice pool, it’s a hidden gem! I want to come back and stay longer. Food prepared was excellent, breakfast delightful. The beach the stairs is sandy and clean. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
