Quiet refuge in the country just outside Gravina. Lovely decor, minimal modern style with charming small paintings by the owners mother. Spacious bathroom loved the tiling! Elegant simple touches everywhere. Full length mirror, super bedding, it lacked nothing. Spotlessly clean. Window and doors have an inside shutter with a lace curtain so you can have light and privacy. Loved the green demijohn bottles lining the courtyard : made a beautiful pattern at night. Fully paved so you can walk barefoot everywhere outside. Felt like home the owners were so very nice!

We arrived at this property later a night after a long ferry trip from Dubrovnik, then a very difficult drive in the dark through heavy rain and even flash flooding to a warm and hospitable welcome ( including the host sharing an Italian drink with my husband) from the couple who own the hilltop home. This is a lovely, new and tastefully decorated place and we had a very comfortable room and a great sleep followed by a very nice breakfast this next am.Unfortunately we left early the next morning for the Amalfi Coast but this is obviously a lovely part of Puglia!

The location was fantastic in the historic center of Gravina in Puglia with great access to restaurants, historic sites and people watching. There were tourists, but not overwhelming numbers so you could see how native Italians lived their lives in public spaces. Giovanni was a wonderful host, attentive, warm and welcoming. He jumped right in to help us navigate the winding narrow streets of Gravina and find a convenient place to park our car while we stayed in the car restricted center of the city.

Location is great, easy to access and close to the historic centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beds are extremely comfortable!!, new and clean, nice linens that even smell good, and absolutely loved the tub in the room. Wasn’t able to use the spa, but hopefully next time.
