Our property manager Raffaella was responsive to our questions before we arrived. What a beautiful place overlooking the bay of Salerno, which was brilliant azure color. There was a pool upstairs from our room. We did not need the air conditioner as it was cool in the evenings. The walk to Maori was about approximately .7 miles. We were invited to a family gathering on the property with live music. This was a special time for us. We felt we were part of the family like in Tucci‘s Italy Cable documentary.

The location of the property was superb. It was a 1 minute walk to the sea, cafes, and restaurants where food and drink were readily available at all hours. And it was only a couple of blocks walk to the main downtown Corso Reginna where there were a variety of shops and services. The Pietra di Luna Residence property is a beautiful refuge in the village of Maiori with a lemon grove, large patio and outside seating, as well as a large grass yard. It feels like you are residing on the estate of a private Villa. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels provided. Special thanks to the staff, Katia and Federica, for their attention to my every need and for making my stay so pleasurable. I enjoyed every day I stayed there, and I look forward to returning next year.

The villa is stunning. It was in the perfect location for us to enjoy our first time in the Amalfi coast. We were able to walk to the nearby town as needed and Amalfi was a quick drive away. The staff is truly amazing and very helpful and accommodating.

Exceptionally friendly staff, especially the cleaning staff; who rearranged the beds for us for safe sleeping for the baby, and also the kitchen staff; who made the breakfast experience really pleasant every day, and even held the youngest one so we could serve ourselves. We have never experienced anything like it. Every day they had set out gluten free cakes for me, which was a nice touch. There were also lots of healthy options, such as omelettes made to order, juice press from fruits and vegetables, salads and vegetables etc. The pools were a little cold in May, but I imagine they’ll be very popular in the summer - especially for older children and adults.
