Hotels with Pools in Lavena Ponte Tresa

We were upgraded to a superior room with a great balcony overlooking the lake. Excellent breakfast in a room again overlooking the lake. Nice touch that booking a participating hotel includes the local transit pass (Ticino) which gives free travel on the local train travel and discounts for things like the funicular to the San Salvatore summit.

It is exquisite. Calm and restorative. The cuisine deserves Michelin stars. The staff is extraordinarily helpful even with limited common languages. Our communications were heartfelt. A gem in a tiny old former farming village. Beautiful hiking in the area. Minimal distractions but easy access to necessities within 30 minutes by postal bus free through Ticino pass offered by all hotels during stay. Has a swimming pool on the property and a swimming lake nearby.

The croissants (breakfast), the view from their restaurant, and the pool. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet.

WHAT A PLACE!!!!!! The green forest gave us:
-Endless rain
-Long, dreamy naps (3 to 5 hours kind!)
-Silence, broken only by rain, birds, dogs… and even a donkey 🫏🙃
-No rush
-No plans Please make sure to say hello to 🫏🥰. He is so friendly.

The Staff was really kind. I asked for dinner really late after the kitchen was closed. They offered a solution. Thank you very much.
