Amazing, staff noted my 70th birthday and delivered gift and 70 balloons to our room

The property was extremely well kept and clean, very comfortable and cozy. The owners make you feel right at home. This location is just over a mile away from the water front and the walk back to the hotel is up a steady incline. It’s quite the workout, which we did not mind but some people may not be prepared for this. If you don’t have a car and are not looking for an intense climb back, consider staying closer to the water front. However, this hotel was amazing. We had the most incredible view. Breakfast and dinners were excellent. The owners are fantastic.

Absolutely lovely place, views are amazing, staff are amazing. It gets fairly busy for food on an evening with lots of locals (so you know it's good). The pool is great. We hired ebikes from the owners and rode into town and up into the mountains, had the best stay. Wish we were there longer

The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, and accepted to a few requests regarding flexibility on check-in/out times, room cleaning times. The facilities are also great, with a swimming pool and a restaurant.

Luca the hotel concierge was a charm and so sweet. Everything you need, he finds a way matter what it takes to make it happen.

The hotel is excellent in every way. Breakfast is fabulous! You can enjoy it inside the wonderful breakfast restaurant or at the patio with amazing lake view. Staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel has beach towels for their guests that you can take to the beach. The water in the lake is crystal clear, and its temperature is comfortable for swimming. My request for the room away from the traffic noise was accommodated, so my window was not facing the lake directly but still had an amazing view. It was not about only a beautiful scenery but also about a tranquil environment. The town is surrounded by pristine alpine nature, and the hotel’s environment is in tune with it which makes it great for a quiet remote work or a spiritual retreat. I came by a couple of churches out of several in town, and was amazed by their baroque style interiors. Staying at this hotel was a nice break in my exploration of major sites in the lake district but it is certainly worth making it a base of the trip instead of transit. It is about an hour to Lugano by car or by bus, and only a half an hour to Menaggio. You can enjoy attractions of both lakes during day trips from the hotel, and have no overnight parking complications compared to hotels in Como.

This location was a complete surprise. I needed something close to the Swiss border and I wanted to be able to walk around town. And hike nearby. At first I was surprised to see that our room was actually a mobile home in a very active mobile park. It was great. The very helpful staff answered any questions and anticipated my needs. The space was private and quiet. With a view of the mountains. I loved the big deck for lounging. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. We were close to the lake front. And there is a bar, cafe and restaurant on the property. Walking distance to the old town and groceries. I can't wait to return to this quiet lakeside town.

The reviews did not lie, this place is amazing! If just every host would be like Anna! She definitely went the extra mile for us and was extremely accommodating, kind and helpful. Porlezza is a great place for exploring both lake Lugano and lake Como. And the appartment is lovely, clean and cozy! Up the hill with most gorgeous views, beautiful waterfall less than 30 min hiking distance, lovely restaurant around the corner and more in the center - enjoyed the pool (most of the time by ourselves) and the comfortable flat with it's cute yard. Felt like living like a local yet having all the amenities you want as a tourist - and the views. Love it!!

Everything really! The rooms are spacious and clean with a breathtaking view to lakeugano. We booked the suit with a separate living room and a kitchenet. The resourt is big, has many facilities and is well maintained. We stayed at May and it was very quite, not too many guests and no families with kids. The staff is very warm and attending. The breakfast is excellent. The ECo spa has a breathtaking view to the lake from the sauna and the external jacuzzi, simply amazing. The location is great as well, very close to lake Como. All in all a great place and a great value for money.

Incredible view of the lake! It was quiet. The whole place was clean, comfortable, and well thought out. Nice veranda for eating outdoors, as well as access to a little courtyard. There was even a drying rack for drying clothes. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and inviting. We found some good restaurants within walking distance. Just a note that you need a car, we did not have a rental car the first night, using the bus system was a bit difficult.
