It is just a beautiful premise, the views are spectacular and Giulia and the whole staff are super nice and do everything to make you feel comfortable

The location was perfect, 5 min uphill walk to inside the walls of Volterra. An absolute gem of a hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious and clean, there were lovely terraces for shade or sun, the pool are was very spacious, quiet with plenty of beds. Would go back.

The location was ideal for visit around Tuscany, tge villa was very well maintained , clean with all the amenities we needed , amazing views but above all the hosts were fantastic! Paola & Alessandro made us feel at home & we enjoyed amazing dinners that Paola prepared - highly recommended !!!

The property was breathtaking. It felt like something out of a movie! We bought items in the shop and ate a delicious vegetarian dinner and had breakfast, which was wonderful, outside.

This place was incredible and beyond amazing I loved everything about it, the staff are amazing and helpful specially their sweet manager I will definitely come back to this place

Returned after 10 years from another stay. New ownership. Staff friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The hotel is in excellent shape, clean and welcoming. Room comfortable and excellent bathroom. Breakfast excellent and abundant with locally sourced items. Staff at breakfast kind and accommodating. Check in and check out easy. Everyone smiling throughout our stay.

For my wife and I, this is the top hotel we stayed in during our visit to Tuscany. Excellent location with breathtaking views of Tuscany’s famous lush hilltops and valleys. Outside terrace and swimming pool are added value to this beautiful villa. Plenty of free and secure parking. Room was very authentic with a beautiful view on the mountains side. Luca, the host, was extremely friendly and helpful. He provided full details on sites to see in the region. Homemade breakfast was excellent with a large variety of food selection.

Everything! Our apartment was beautiful- spacious, comfortable and so charming! Modern-day convenience with old-world charm. The property grounds were very well kept and the views were stunning. Giulia was very helpful with suggestions and directions. And they are building a restaurant which will be very convenient.

We liked this location. It was a farm stay out in the country, on a farm that made pecorino cheese from sheep on the farm. There was a nice main building. There was a restaurant that was excellent. We had a tour of the cheese making facilities. It was far enough out in the country to be quiet, but within less than 10 km of Volterra. Getting out in the tuscan countryside was easy, but note that the roads are very twisty, so it can take longer to get places. We were given very good instructions on how to find it. They also have a pool, which we did not use, as the weather was still too cold.

Beautiful view right outside of the room. Even the bathroom has a nice view outside. Swimming pool is very clean. Bathroom is just renovated, very nicely done.

We stayed 2 nights on a 27 day trip and this accommodation was my favourite . The ambiance, comfort, pool and breakfast were all excellent. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

The feeling of and « old castle ». Very good territory. Welcoming host. Oil production owned by the hosts which is nearby and you can buy amazing local staff.

The people were so nice and welcoming, the pool was great, the location was beautiful, and the restaurant was great! We had dinner there three nights: typical Italian food (simple but tasty and generous). I highly recommend both white and red house wines. We also enjoyed breakfast. We could not have wished for a more peaceful place.

This is one of the quietest places on earth. This place is a peaceful sanctuary where you be completely undisturbed. It's a 5 minute drive away from middle of Volterra on a small road but that is exactly what my family liked about it.

It was beautiful view and close to Volterra which is gorgeous hill town. The staff were great.

The atmosphere and house were amazing. The view cannot be beat.
