AMAZING ROOM, aged yet classic. isolated from the main street yet easy access to anywhere via uber/taxi in Tainan. very helpful front desk / concierge enjoyed the stay in the bar fantastic breakfast even if this trip were for leisure.

Before booking I hesitated for a day, due to the negative reviews. I decided to drive to the hotel first and look at the facilities because we were already close by. Upon arriving I was quite impressed. The feeling of a Thai spa awaits you and the front counter male was very impressive. He speaks English well and remained courteous through all my questions. The room was bigger than I expected and we could feel the peaceful zen style incorporated into the room. Yes there were some slight ageing wear and tear noticed, like the blinds in the bathroom with slight black mould stains, or a small section of the bottom wall showing some water damage, but overall this hotel was beautiful, peaceful, relaxing and excellent value for money. For the price we paid, I would say it was an excellent deal. We got the room with a bath tub and soaked in a tub overlooking the harbour. Thank you to the staff, it was a pleasant stay.
