everything was amazing, truly we had the best time. The security was there so we felt safe. Try not to get influenced by the negative reviews, I am so glad we didn't because everything was up to an incredible standard. We loved Coco such a cute addition but we are also big animal lovers. Good food, good breakfast options, clean beach with cool restaurants around. The masais were not intrusive, mainly just friendly guys. So happy we chose Karibu. The room with beach view was out of this world.

This resort is absolutely stunning, all the way from staff through superb gastronomy, lovely surroundings, to cleanliness, etc... We stayed here in January, everyday different food menu, lovely drinks and high quality (we recommend all inclusive), everyday transfer to Kiwengwa beach managed by the hotel, visit to the nearby village and school and many activities... We definitely recommend to everyone to come to this piece of paradise! Every single one of the team is going above and beyond to make you feel welcome and enjoy the time staying here. Our stay was honestly amazing — probably one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The staff were super friendly, really thoughtful, and made us feel special the whole time. The resort is gorgeous, with beautiful gardens, stunning ocean views, plenty of privacy, and clean, comfy, luxurious rooms. The food was incredible too — every meal felt like a treat. Tulia is one of those places you just never want to leave.

Almost two weeks at The Nest in Pongwe and it was one of our best holidays. The location is perfect for relaxation, peace, and feeling safe, while still allowing you to experience the authentic side of Zanzibar. Cleanliness is excellent, the rooms are well maintained, and all of them have an ocean view, which is a big plus. The Infinity pool is beautiful and ideal for relaxing moments, overseeing the ocean. The food is very good, and the staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, especialy Stephan the Chief of staff. He provided great recommendations for local attractions such as the Spice Farm and the Stone Town tour, and also helped organize excursions, including an unforgettable Mikumi Safari. The airport transfer was well organized by Stephan. Overall, The Nest in Pongwe is a wonderful choice for couples looking for a relaxing and intimate stay. We highly recommend it and would happily return. Excellent value for money!

Even with All-Inclusive, you’re not getting buffet-style meals—you’re dining à la carte, choosing dishes from a full menu, prepared fresh by the chef. The cocktails were equally impressive: balanced, creative, and delicious. 4. Incredible Staff & Service This is where the hotel truly shines. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay perfect. You can feel that both management and the team truly care about their guests—and that level of sincerity is rare and priceless. 5. A Five-Star Experience (Even if It Says Four) I’m honestly surprised this is rated as a four-star hotel. The service, design, food, and overall experience easily match a five-star level. you are on the beachfront and in the Jungle the same time

Everything at Marafiki Bungalows was exceptional. We ate all our meals there and everything was made from scratch - a variety of freshly baked pastries in the morning, fresh bread in the evening, home-made jams, fresh seafood, etc.. It was so delicious. There were sufficient sun-loungers and day beds for all the guests.
