I stayed at AMANEK Beppu YULA‑RE for 4 nights during my time in Beppu, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. The biggest strength of this hotel is its strategic location. It is close to Beppu Station (train station) and the bus terminal, making it very easy to travel to various attractions. From here, I could conveniently visit Yufuin, Beppu Ropeway, Oita, Kyushu Wildlife Park, Takasakiyama Park, and many other destinations. The hotel is also surrounded by food options, so finding meals was never a problem. A Lawson convenience store is located very close to the hotel, making it easy to buy water or snacks at any time. The room I stayed in was quite spacious and featured tatami flooring, which added comfort and a pleasant Japanese atmosphere. Another nice touch was the free welcome drink, available all day until around 10 PM, which was very relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The most memorable part of my stay was the hotel’s complimentary bath (onsen) facilities for guests. I used the onsen almost every night on the 14th floor, where I could enjoy a beautiful view of Beppu city while soaking in hot water. It was a truly relaxing and unforgettable experience. The hotel also has a rooftop swimming pool, although I did not get the chance to use it during my stay.

Love everything about it, nothing to complain about, we are driving, so location is great, just a few minutes to tourist attractions. House is like brand new, and super clean. Owner responds quickly. Love the onsen, the pool and the view, it’s like my dream house🩷

The view is amazing. The room can fit a family of 5. My kids enjoyed the onsen. The provided yukata and japanese slippers are some nice personal touch.

The rooftop pool!!!!!!! 🤩 Amazing 360 view over the city, sea and mountains. The spa a floor below is also great. Makes the visit worth it by itself.

My wife and I only stayed overnight. Quite roomy for 2. Like the view of the ocean and poolside. We like going there for the hot bath in the past. Downside: very old facilities with some upgrades, toilet is very small and tight, hotel does not have free complementary breakfast.
