The beds were large and very comfortable, and the sea view was fantastic. Each room has a small balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view. Everything matched the description — no exaggerated marketing. The food at the rooftop restaurant was good, and we were even allowed to use the pool after checkout, which was a nice bonus. The WiFi was strong, and most restaurants, beaches and coffee places are within walking distance, except for the historical city center.

The Gaviana Resort is on the Las Gaviotas Beach and located in the Zona Dorada shopping and restaurant area. The Sinaloa (MZT-General Rafael Buelna Intl.) Airport is 12.4 miles from the resort.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the bartender. The hotel feels brand new and modern and very comfortable. It is connected to a modern mall with a grocery store, parking garage and other restaurants.
