What an amazing place! The hotel blends in with the natural area and the town. Extremely clean and a lovely room. A short walk into the town (about 20mins). The staff in the bistro were fab although the hotel isn't manned. The bistro itself is top notch, with reasonable priced drinks and food. The banana waffles are lush!

Everything was just perfect. From the first moment on, it was clear that this is a very well thought threw concept. Everything is local and tiny details make it an exceptional experience. Room was lovely and the terrace with birds and bees is like something out of a movie. Eventhough spa area is quite small, it has everything. Wine and food were to die for, every single member of staff was super nice. We would like to especially thank Christoph who was working in the restaurant while we were there. He did an amazing job!

The hotel is located in the town center. There is a parking lot nearby, so we had no trouble finding a parking spot. Right next door (right by the entrance) is an excellent restaurant and wine bar where you can have dinner. Also, just a few hundred meters away is the town’s central square, which has plenty of cafes. Checking into the room was easy; the hosts sent us the entry codes. So there was no need to wait at the front desk or fill out a registration form. Everything is modern. The room is cozy, and the kids loved sleeping in the loft.

This place is for Wine Lovers. I mean, if you do not drink wine, you will not appreciate this place the way we did. Family run, wine based hotel. Their wine production started in 1783 or something like this, and the family tree is proudly displayed on the wall. Upon arrival we have tried 5 wines. There was a sect for breakfast (which we could not enjoy as we were driving on). You can buy their wines -- after tasting -- or the next day, to make sure that you know what you are doing ;-) Very good breakfast. Staff speaks English. A lot more wine around ;-)))))))

We just wanted to see the castle, but it turns out that you can't visit the castle itself - you have to buy admission to one of the exhibitions taking place there. There are several exhibitions, so you also need to buy several tickets... Or you can be satisfied with the opportunity to see a few rooms. On the other hand, the castle itself is not as interesting as its immediate surroundings, which can be seen for free: towers, views, gardens, etc. We came across a festival (probably St. Martin's Day), so we weren't allowed to go to any of the recommended restaurants (we had to have a reservation), but thanks to that we went to one that wasn't recommended - which turned out to be very good. The city has a parking zone throughout the week (including weekends), but the first hour of parking is free. Note: there are few parking meters.

This town is worth exploring.

This town is worth exploring. It has much to offer as places in bigger cities, but here on a proportionately smaller (and closer) scale. If you have any interest in archaeology, take a short trip to Masarykovo Namesti and see a branch of the South Moravian Museum to get a feel for the past.

Great little town, clean and well maintained parks and square. Very tourists friendly, lovely restaurants to choose from. We've eaten at Albero and Valticka Rychta. Both fantastic, authentic food and very helpful service. Our dinner in Valticka Rychta was absolutely delicious. We were seated outside, in very pleasant courtyard. The waitress was really helpful and professional. Food was outstanding 👌. Highly recommended.

Lednice is an easy place to get to.

Lednice is an easy place to get to. Hey have great accommodations throughout the city. So many things to see and do as within the area. We loved venturing out on our adventures to see other parts of the country. It is very a beautiful area! People are very accommodating and helpful. I would love to go back another time to take in more of the sights.

Tourist non friendly destination.

Tourist non friendly destination. High prices, almost no service. Big problem to find a place in restaurant ( only 2 places ), pour product stores ( 3 small Vietnamese stores ) But beautifull nature and castle

the wooden furnished rooms were quirky. the location was excellent and quiet, great for walking and cling trails. Be aware it was tricky to find food after 8pm in the locality if you come late from a walk, Other than that perfect. Their own wine was nice too.

Such a pretty old town centre with a square surrounded by...

Such a pretty old town centre with a square surrounded by lovely buildings. It was full of cafes and shops. Then the large castle loomed over the town from its hilltop position. You can walk through the castle gardens and along the path around the castle to admire it. From there the views over the town and across the countryside were stunning. We also visited the castle of Lednice only a short drive away. Just beautiful!

It is a great old town with plenty of things to see,...

It is a great old town with plenty of things to see, especially if you are into historical sightseeing and lovely nature/surroundings. Just make sure that you come at the right time. Due to our trip to the Czech Republic in January, we did stop in Znojmo, but were a little bit surprised that most of the sights have April-October opening time.

This was a wonderful resort in the heart of Czech wine region. Wonderful castles in the town and the surrounding countryside with many wineries to visit! A beautiful resort with a fantastic pool deck area and rooftop bar. The kitchen was beautiful and bright. The rooms are very luxurious and clean!

Take the castle tour! Beautiful interior makes you dizzy. Ms. Wendy(I do not know her last name), our English guide of castle; her tour was so perfect! One of my best guide tour ever. Garden was perfect, huge lakeside was so peaceful and nice.
