The location was perfect, right on the main street but still nice and peaceful.. Everything was within walking distance. There is a nice free carpark right at the entrance. There is a ramp for wheelchairs and the hotel has a lift, so perfect for people with a disability. The hotel has a restaurant and there are also plenty of other restaurants nearby. A supermarket is opposite the carpark, so convenient. There is a kitchenette on the same floor and also a washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

There is absolutely NOTHING not to love about this place. From the moment we arrived, all staff were wonderful. The outlook of the property, the drink service, the breakfast, pool, absolutely everything was wonderful. We can't wait to go back. Little tip, shop at Barossa Fresh (it's AMAZING), visit Freeling if you are a McLeods Daughters fan. Do yourself a favour and visit this beautiful place. :)

We had a great stay at the Bauhaus Hotel, perfect place to rest our head for a night, after exploring the Barossa. In a central location in Angaston, free parking behind the property and beautiful modernised rooms. Seperate bathrooms are very clean and modern, quiet rooms despite being above the pub. Lovely street with cafes & bakeries before hitting some wine tastings. Would stay here again, highly recommended! :)

Great stay and we were very lucky to be upgraded to CabnX that was certainly much appreciated for the 43+ deg day when we first arrived. And then when the temperature cooled down, we could really enjoy the bath and sauna in the Cabn. Location is fantastic - lots of nature walks and so close to Seppeltsfield winery - so we could just walk across.

Elizabeth made us feel at home instantly with a bottle of wine and chocolates for the kids. The newly renovated place has a very relaxing vibe. The common room was very tastefully done and we loved spending time there. The family room was great and catered to our needs. An enclosure at the back with goats and fairy garden was awesome to keep the kids busy. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Barossa Palms to our friends.

The cottage was very comfortable and clean, with outdoor seating on the verandah and a covered bbq area. It is in a quiet location, but is close to Lyndoch with restaurants and a supermarket. The on site caretakers were amazing. The front door lock was faulty when we arrived, and Ken replaced it the next morning….really impressive service. They had lots of good advice and recommendations for the local area too.

Tanunda is a beautiful country town. Very easy to get around and close to a lot of wineries. 50's diner was magnificent. There is so much to see and do, research and make a list like my friend did and you won't miss anything. Great experience.

I had a wonderful stay in Nuriootpa. The accommodation was spotless at the Barossa Palms Motel, welcoming and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. I loved how central it was — just minutes from beautiful wineries, great food and the charm of the Barossa. Such a peaceful spot to unwind. I’d definitely return.

Local Lyndoch Bakery had great coffee and pies with an authentically German decor! A very quick drive to commence our self created Barossa wine tour ...with Chateau Yaldara just up the road. Not so far to Gawler either, where there is a wonderful pub for dinner..."The Golden Fleece". Food was excellent.

Very historic area and enjoyed the museum at Tanunda especially seeing the manual telephone exchange that I learned to operate in 1973. Great to visit so many of the wineries and enjoyed the cheese platter at each of the places we had lunch. Great to visit this area after 38 years. Angaston itself was worth a good walk to see everything.

Canvas cabin “Billie” Well constructed and designed.

Canvas cabin “Billie” Well constructed and designed. Appliances; Weber-Q, very corroded jets and a/c heating, not good . Couldnt get heat on any setting and it was very cold. Location not as remote or private as expected for off grid experience. Cleanliness a bit sub par. Bed mattress sunk in middle leaving us with backaches. No bottom fitted sheet…just a flat sheet not tucked in, exposing woollen mattress protector as you sleep, which I doubt is washed for each guest. Could be so much better with a bit more attention to detail. $320 a night a bit too much for what you get. Around $200 more appropriate.
