The staff at the front desk were amazingly friendly. The location is great right across the ocean and the restaurant Enzo's on the Beach was fantastic. There are a lot of other restaurants all in walking distance. The room was great located on the 2nd floor and overlooking the pool. The room was clean and they furnished tea and milk in the room and had a larger refrigerator in the room. Washer/dryer available in the apartment was a bonus!

Extremely friendly staff. Very comfortable accommodation. Very spacious house. The cooking stove and oven are a bit old and not too user-friendly. No AC in the house may be a bit hot during the height of summer with a few hot days. Each room had a ceiling fan.

Julie helped my friend and I so much by calling a tour group and spending about half an hour on the phone to make sure we didn't spend wasted time at the airport. Instead the K'Gari bus picked us up right in front of the motel. Thanks Julie!

Hervey Bay is a lovely place to relax.
Hervey Bay is a lovely place to relax. I managed to almost read a whole book, something I haven't done in a long time, but it was nice to have that downtime in such a beautiful place.
We went for the weekend, to go Whale Watching, & what a great experience. We went out with Whalesong & Captain Ben was great.
We ate out for most meals & could not fault any of the places we ate. Some of the places were The Clubouse, RSL, The Pier Cafe, Miss Cocoa's & Lone Star .
There is so much to do in & around Hervey Bay & it's close to Bundaberg & the Sunshine Coast, so short drives in either direction opens up more things to do. Hervey Bay is a nice base to travel from.

The only thing i was not very happy with is the lighting in the bathroom is was a small wall light and was very dull and dark in there

Loved our time on Fraser island ...took a beauty points all day tour which was informative and really enjoyable. ... also was able to take advantage of a flight from the beach over lake Mckenzie and the ocean edge.. saw many whales.. truly amazing! .Extended our stay to 6 nights.. great walks from the resort...our breakfast was included and was a very tasty hot buffet with many options... would definitely recommend Fraser island as a few days getaway.. only negative was the rooms weren't obviously soundproof and the people above us were a bit noisy at times

A quieter pace of life the minute you drive into town, country meets ocean all in the one place. Beautiful scenery and a great range of cafes and shops along the esplanade.
Stayed during winter months so the summer buzz wasn’t crazy like it could be during whale watching season. Love the relaxed vibe….perfect escape

I grew up holidays at Burrum Heads and I have sentimental ties and happy memories. I have seen lots of changes over time and fear there will become a time where it will lose what makes it special to me. It is low key, safe and beautiful spot to holiday with a family.

Nice little place for a relaxing few days, people and dog friendly. Great walking paths along the beaches and surrounding areas. Not a big shopping area but enough to get by for a couple of days. There are other bigger shopping centres only minutes drive away.

Tiaro is a quaint little town with a awesome Christmas shop and an awesome craft cottage that sells lots of local items. The butchers is great also. Behind the pub is a park, which was a nice walk from where we were staying.

A quiet small coastal hamlet not far from Hervey Bay.
A quiet small coastal hamlet not far from Hervey Bay. There are two cafes, Salty’s and Goodys which do meals and serve alcohol but are not open 7 days a week. There is a small general store at the southern end of the township. The biggest recent addition is an excellent pontoon and enhanced boat ramp facility giving great access to Beelbie Creek and beyond.

Asian restaurant at the marina and boat club have good meals but best to book as they can be busy.
Whale song did a great whale watching cruise with lunch included.
