"This is town is awesome. All the shops are local and everyone is really friendly. The bus system is great and costs nothing. The prices are pretty high but that is to be expected in a ski village like this. I would highly recommend visiting this town to a friend."

The staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay, and the area itself was so peaceful and quiet, especially early in the mornings. We also loved the breakfast. The Room & Views: The room was excellent. Through the balcony, you get a beautiful, direct view of the snow-clad mountains.The Food: Breakfast was exceptional every morning. As a bonus for fellow travelers, there is a very good Indian restaurant located close by.The Location: Perfect location. It is situated very close to the train station, making transit incredibly easy.The Service: The staff is wonderfully hospitable. The reception team is highly supportive, helpful, and always available to assist.We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing! Arrived as they were closing and they were nice to accommodate me and even closed the kitchen a bit late so I can have dinner :*-). Shoutout out to the nice waiter and amazing chef who put together an amazing and best spinach tortellini and chicken pea soup in my life! Very professional and friendly, and super clean and upgraded facility. Located walking distance to Mount Titlis cable car. Parking available in front. Beds were comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!

The hotel is located outside the main part of town, which means amazing mountain views from the room and patio. It was about a 25 min walk from the train station. There is a free bus that you can take but we walked. I really enjoyed being outside the main part of town. It really gave you the quaint village feel. The included breakfast was delicious! The staff, check-in and out were all great. Would recommend!

Amazing attitude of both managers! Super nice, friendly and helpful! Overall views were spectacular because this hotel is on the other side as all the other hotels in this valley hence you have magnificent vies during the day and night :) Food amazing, service too. I can only say it has been great night :)

This small hotel feels very cosy, and the staff is very friendly. The location is excellent - near to the train station but very quiet.
Very nice mountain view from the balcony.
I specially enjoyed the kitchenette in the room.

Engelberg is such a beautiful Swiss mountain town, with a really nice energy and atmosphere. Great if you love mountains and hiking — there are trails everywhere and Mount Titlis towering right above the village. We had a lovely time exploring with our dog and family.

food there, like everywhere in switzerland is expensive. ate at the tea room, was very nice, and had breakfast's at guts genuss, right across the street from the hoheneck. great breakfast options reasonably priced.
