The facilities are recently renovated and are very comfortable. The host, Richi prepared an amazing breakfest with local ingredients every morning. He went above and beyond with advice on actitivities and helping out wherever he could.

Small b & b very cozy I think family business, a few rooms but each room has a different name because it depends on the scent they use in each room, not very aggressive as a scent but pleasant, that as soon as you open the door you accoglieglie a very sweet fragrance, loving, where you would not want to leave the room, very clean, cozy, very clean bathroom, intimacy effective, very high soundproofing, located near the centre, a few steps you have a glimpse of a magnificent view of the lake, breakfast buffet nothing to say all perfect just a little something to specify each product with a label what you are choosing, product name, girl at reception friendly, very easy-going, nice, very detailed explanations, both with regard to check-in, breakfast, explanation of the room, check-out.
in this b&b is like being with family, sympathy, welcome, help, never lack!!!

The breakfast was great! When we checked in, we were asked what time we would like to eat our breakfast and an entire spread was awaiting us downstairs in the dining room! While Switzerland in general tends to be more expensive for traveling than other European countries, the value of this facility was well worth it. Everything was comfortable, the views spectacular and the proximity to the train station exactly what we needed. The staff went above and beyond, by holding on to our luggage for us, even after we checked out, as we had some more exploring to do the day we left.

Room was lovely and very comfortable, with a nice view. Location perfect, very a stone's throw away from the train station.
Walkable distance to what was the town centre - and also cross over to the Italian border.
Didn't book breakfast, but they offered us nonetheless. Lovely croissants and coffee. :)

The location and the view were unbeatable. The indoor pool, a great retreat after a long drive with children. Staff was friendly. Breakfast options were plentiful and we loved the indoor-outdoor dinning options.

The place is nice clean and friendly, Full of nice areas to visit, walking, biking, or driving. Fox Town is right around the corner. We will most definitely go back.
A note to the City of Mendrisio is that they should make and effort to be there for the tourist. We go there to spend money and there's not a tourist info office or anything at the Mendrisio Train station to help us on weekends. Tourists go there and spend money on Sunday as well.
ATTENTION WITH Alfa Taxi, the only one in Town. The hotel called us a taxi to take us to the Restaurant - Croto Dei Tigli- A REAL GEM, located in Balerna, 10 minutes away THAT I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND. The driver started the meeter with 15 CHF, this doesn't happen even in Zurich, he ask us 61 CHF for this 10 minutes ride. After complaining he took 50CHF from us. At our return, we called a taxi and the same guy came, this is when we realised that this was the only taxi business in town and the guy wanted 50CHF again. That means that we paid 100 CHF round trip for a visit to a restaurant located 10 minutes away. A total reap off.
The best is to visit with your own car.

You need to know Italian to feel good overthere.
You need to know Italian to feel good overthere. Some Italian restaurants are great. Expensive as everywhere in Switzerland, but no so as in Zurich or Geneve. Old town is nice. you may see everything within a day.
