Property was a nice bit of luxury and space with a serviceable gym and got a room upgrade to the lakeside rooms, drinks on patio and nice breakfast. The room is expansive with nice balcony looking over the lake.

We stayed in the penthouse, and it was very spacious and comfortable. We could use the coffee machine, but not the kitchen, which was a surprise. The location is perfect. Right on the lake, and close to the gondola for Madonna del Sasso and Piazza Grande. Walking distance to everything, right in the center of the city. Very beautiful. Good breakfast.

The hotel is managed by Manuela and it's easy to see that she is the soul of the hotel. My sister had had an accident and Manuela went above and beyond to take care of her. Manuela is simply a fabulous person.The hotel itself is fabulously situated, beautifully interior designed and the perfect base for hiking in and around Fusio. Breakfast: fantastic, food (if you opt to eat there): superb. A little gem nestled in a picture perfect high altitude village.

The hotel (actually a charming villa) was in a prime location, close to all the major attractions. The lady at the reception 🥰🥰🥰 was very friendly, welcomed us with complimentary chocolates. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. The room was beyond comfortable, spotless and spacious, with elegant décor. Breakfast was a feast, with a wide variety of delicious options. Great restaurants and train station within walking distance. Ability to store your luggage after check-out. The apartment was super nice: tastefully furnished and very pleasant to spend a rainy day in, lighting the fire in the fireplace gave our stay an additional charm. The kitchen is fully equipped, you can find there a small oven and toaster amongst other things. The jacuzzi has a beautiful view on the mountains and we used it daily. The resort is situated in a very good spot: 2,5h walk to Sonogno one way (if you plan to use a bus on your way back, keep in mind the gap between 12:20 and 14:50) and 2h walk to Ponte dei Salti the other way - both directions are must see, amazing views. The restaurant right next to the resort serves very good meals and tasty breakfasts - highly recommend to check it out.

Everything! Location, check in process, room keys, complimentary refreshments in lobby, the OWNER, he was so helpful and quick to respond to messages. Comfortable bed, the stone in the shower, view from our room; restaurant next door, same building. Their staff was friendly and helpful. My Italian is entry level in speech, better in listening and reading, German is worse. The staff was patient and we made it work and had fun! Room rate comes with a bus pass for Ticino during the stay and was easy to use. The property and surrounding area was beautiful and easy to get to hikes, bike trails etc on foot within minutes. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay here!

Rooms are modest, but clean, cozy and welcoming. Fabulous location right on the river. Restaurant on site with good pasta and a nice, simple breakfast offering. The hosts are super kind and helpful. Also, a convenient bus stop right in front of the hotel, and we were given a bus pass for the duration of our stay. Lots of beautiful hikes to different villages leaving right from the hotel.

Comfortable beds, house was tiny but had everything you needed for a couple of nights and was surprisingly comfortable (4 full size beds, no sleeping sofa). The house was quiet and cool at night, a baker is there on all mornings except Sunday with fresh bread, there's a restaurant on site (reservations mandatory) and another one closeby.

Located just next to the trail, and there's a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. Truly wonderful service from the staff – they made our stay so joyful. Delicious food in the restaurant. We really loved our time here and were sad to leave.

Vogorno is a small hamlet, high on a mountainside above lake Vogorno. It is called a Hotel, but is really a guest house, a restaurant and take away pizza place. Pretty basic but clean, nice staff, good evening meals. UK visitors, take a Swiss style 3pin adapter for the recessed socket. The normal EU 2 pin adapter will not fit into the diamond shaped recess. My research suggests this is an older style and more modern hotels use the usual eu adapter. However, in nearby Locarno, hotels are 3 times the price of this one. To reach the hotel, there is a narrow road with several tight hairpin bends, which we found great fun, but may scare others. The people are superb.

A quiet and picturesque village nestled under the mountains. The closest proper shop is 20 minutes away by bus but there are several good restaurants. Perfect for low-key walking or just sitting and looking at the scenery.
