The location is great, there's a small shopping center down the street. The room was very spacious with a desk for working, an eating area, and an area to watch TV. The beds were comfortable and towels were soft. The showers have hot water, which i love! The bathroom had a blow dryer which was great because I forgot mine. The kitchen was well stocked with basic items. The back parking area felt secure with the gate that the staff control from inside.

The Hotel Suria can hold a large number of tourists in their many cabins and at their dining facilities. The rooms were a bit cold but a down comforter was available for warmth at night. Given the services available at the hotel the rooms provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Agniel Trejos leds most of the excursions for bird watching and touring the area. He was a fantastic guide - highly recommended. The service at the dining facilities was also very good. Gerado even make us Americans some eggs with salsa the last day of our stay. Trout is a good option for dinner because it comes from the Savegre River next door. Delicious.

It's a lovely place with nice accommodations, a beautiful area with their own forrest, waterfall and pond on hotel's property. The pond could be seen from our room, and the sound of Savegre river lulled our sleep at night. Consider the temperature is considerably cooler than most of Costa Rica's destinations, so bring your raincoats and jackets.

San José is not my favorite city, but it has its own history...

San José is not my favorite city, but it has its own history and character. Although it felt a bit gray to me, I was truly impressed by how clean, organized, and well-maintained it is. The people clearly take pride in their city. I only had a short time to explore, so I hope to discover more on a future visit.

This is the most amazing place to stay - highly recommended! The homemade pasta and fresh trout are delicious; the gift shop is great. The rooms are just incredible! We did horse riding one morning which was brilliant.

The area of Copey is very beautiful with all its mountains , river, and forests. It is usually cold, especially at nighttime. Ii is a great place to go to get away from it all and just relax in nature!

Rivas is a great location to base yourself.

Rivas is a great location to base yourself. It's easily reachable from San Jose via good quality roads. Rivas has a great selection of national parks to visit, plenty of local restaurants and other attractions to visit and keep you busy. Additionally, it is close enough to the East coast to be a great base for day trips. We travelled to both Dominical and Uvita in under two hours. This puts a large number of other national parks within easy reach.

This property is stunning, very clean, peaceful, with an amazing view and a hot tub. There is a small fridge and microwave, so stock up on food before you go. The road is very steep to get up to the accommodation.

Amazing place to visit with your family or significat other, totally recommend it. Beautiful, lots of nature, we visited mid June, had some rain early in the morning or late at night. In short, I want to go back and spend more time in Costa Rica, just loved it

I never write reviews, but this place is very misleading with some false reviews saying the breakfast was a lot of food? No way. My 95 lb gf barely got enough to eat. And me? I had to order another breakfast and pay for it in order to get filled up. Beds were awful and the hot water was iffy. For a $120 night room this is really unacceptable. I’d stay somewhere else next time.

It is really nice, we went to Savegre for dinner since we had a reservation made on one restaurant there, but I am sure that if you plan the trip to fully stay on Copey you would find a lot to see, walk and do there. If you decide to go and visit Savegre take into consideration that it is a 40min drive

Vista Canyon Inns was highly recommended by my Doctor and...

Vista Canyon Inns was highly recommended by my Doctor and they did not disappoint me. Mr. Dr. and the hospital were minutes away and the hotel arranged all my transportation. Great restaurants of all varieties and prices were within a short ride or UBER Eats. Loved this part of the Central Valley. The mall is huge but, very expensive. Much better than staying in SAN JOSE.

I like the downtown core. easy to walk everywhere, great shops and many sights to see. Uber is know however be cautious taking to airport as official watch and will charge driver. Uber is restricted from airport area for pickup or dropoff. Ways around it but advice is use with caution. Downtown uber can get you anywhere fast.
