The hosts were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They were super accommodating. It seemed like the room was recently refurbished. Really good breakfast. Easy walk into town, to the train station and for a hike to the castle. Excellent for cyclists touring the Rhein.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was the perfect place to explore parts of the RheinSteig hiking trail and surrounding villages. The hotel was very comfortable with an excellent breakfast. Frau Maas was a wonderful and caring host. She personally served breakfast and made sure her guests were comfortable. We would definitely come back here.

Loved the sauna, pool, and outdoor lounge area. There are plenty of hiking trails around the facility. Staff was very friendly, and the room was comfortable and exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was incredible as well.

Beautiful, clean property with well appointed rooms. It was a joy discovering the grounds and vineyards! I have to give plenty of praise to the staff! They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Even going as far as ensuring we had a balcony, then changing the room so I could have a different view from the balcony. Kevin was amazing! Also his colleague was very helpful and showed us the gym, even going through workouts for us (I didn’t catch his name). Overall, we will stay here again thanks to the amazing staff and beautiful property!

The included buffet breakfast was amazing! I can't get over how good these European breakfasts are. I skip the needless carbs (wonderful sweet rolls, bread, etc.) and head for the fresh cut fruit, yoghurt, and muesli. The bonus here was a hot buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. I was fully fueled for a long bike ride, and also brought along some apples and kiwis for the rest of the day on the bike.

We visit Koblenz regularly to visit our son who lives there.

We visit Koblenz regularly to visit our son who lives there. There's a lot to do within easy reach cruise or take the train or bus to villages in the Rhine gorge. Koblenz has a good selection of food from traditional German pub fare to a Michelan 1 star restaurant. We always eat at Hanoi when we visit.

Walking and taking in all the sights of the side streets here is wonderful. I enjoy the simple shopping and every spot has thier own wines to try, which is excellent. We went up to the Niederwald Monument, which is impressive to say the least

Boppard has a nice river front with many hotels and restaurants. There is a cute old downtown right behind the hotel. When we were deciding where to stay on the Rhein, many people recommended Bacharach but Boppard was much nicer.

Bacharach is a quiet historic town along the Rhine. We enjoyed hiking, a 2 hours river cruise, and wandering around this quiet town. Our wanderings took us up to the castle, the tower, along the river, through the very steep vineyards and more. If you are looking for lots of tourists and shops, this is not the stop for you. If you're looking for a beautiful quiet town be sure to stop in Bacharach. Be sure to try some of the local wines. We ate a a few different places, the beer garden was good, the gelato Cafe was yummy, we were disappointed with Altes Haus, famous for being the oldest house in Bacharach. Food was only ok and service was not great.

A great base for exploring this part of the Rhine. Only basic impressions as this was a stop over night en route between Bavaria and the UK. Atmospheric market place, guesthouse just a few steps away and excellent bakery for breakfast made up for a largely rainy night. Would definitely be a candidate for further exploration in the area.

My sister and I took a nostalgic visit to Bingen am Rhein as our Grand mother was born there. An extra day would have been nice but we managed to locate all that we came for. It is easy to get round Bingen on foot and we ate in several different eateries. we particularly like the Koppel Konditori, most excellent breakfast. Also if you like kaffe and kuchen there is a great selection. There is no shortage of great places to eat. All very clean and excellent service. Opposite Bingen is Rudesheim another old town with the famous Drosselgasse . A cable car ride up to the Nederwald Denkmal, well worth the fare.

Remagen was convenient for me for an overnight st, coming by train from Edinburgh on the day, and likewise as an overnight stop on the last day of my holiday. All travel was, of course, by train. On my first visit I had to visit 'the bridge'. A very historic place.

Brilliant location. Massive bedrooms. Nothing was too much trouble. Free car park at rear. Very clean. My aunt had a room facing the Rhein and it was like a suite. Bathrooms are exceptionally large as well. Lots of restaurants to choose from. You could drive anywhere. Breakfast. Something for everyone and lots of it. Very accommodating owner. I would definitely stay again and I don’t say that lightly

Oberwesel is a very charming village with a lot of historic parts. Nice walking in the area and a super view towards the castle. A lot of lovely villages in the area, easy reached by train that stops in front of the village. We went during Christmas and New Year holidays and almost all restaurants and shops were closed. Not a lot of people around.
