We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooftop jacuzzi with a stunning view of the castle was the highlight – incredibly romantic and perfect for unwinding. A perfect place for a calm, cozy, and romantic stay. The location is great: peaceful and quiet, ideal for a relaxing getaway. Everything in the hotel is brand new and decorated with great taste – you can feel the care and attention in every detail. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The spa area was very clean, and again, the jacuzzi with the castle view was unforgettable. We also really appreciated the opportunity to use the spa even on the day of checkout – such a thoughtful touch that made our departure feel just as relaxing as the rest of our stay. Special thanks to Yasin Karan from reception, the entire team, and the hotel owner for creating such a beautiful place and providing excellent service. You made our stay truly special.

We slept for a night in January and our stay was great. 5 minutes from the Train station and 5 from the shopping area. Easy self check in and building access by pin code. Very nice clean room, with a modern and spacious bathroom. On arrival we found welcome drinks and snacks. Good value for money, we'll be back for sure when in town.

The room was great - plenty of space and everything we needed to include a dining table, living area, balcony with a sitting area and a view of the stream with the mountains beyond. Loved it. The sauna was a great bonus and the front desk provides a booklet with discounts to local attractions and transportation. Highly recommend and we will be going back.

Newly remodeled, Immaculate apartment: nice and firm mattress. Bathroom was roomy, with a good size shower enclosure. The extra toilet in separate ‘closet room’ was a bonus. Jason was a very kind and helpful host! Dedicated parking space on underground level of garage was also appreciated, even if it’s a few minutes walk away.

We liked the feel of Reutlingen.

We liked the feel of Reutlingen. It is lively and has everything you could want. There are some beautiful, old buildings, great shops and plenty of covenient car parks. We liked the fact that it has a Denn's Biomarkt, with a cafe. We had come across this chain elsewhere and enjoy shopping there. Good parking too.

It's all about the outlet shopping. It's very nicely integrated into an existing small town, very tidy and respectful of pedestrians. The best outlet in Europe still, in my opinion. The restaurants are so-so, and some of the better reviewed ones are quite a walk from the hotel; and most are closed on Sundays, as the outlet is also closed then

We could have stayed in Heidenheim a *little* (not "much")...

We could have stayed in Heidenheim a *little* (not "much") longer, to see the Roman museum, for example. The reason for the visit was a performance of Tannhäuser at the summer Opernfestpiele. It was very high quality, even though moved at short notice (actually, without any on-site notice at all) from the picturesque outdoor ruined-castle setting to a nearby conference centre. This actually benefited it in terms of acoustics.

A very charming town with beautiful markplatz and great church. Medieval half-timbered houses and Baroque town houses lined the market square in the old town of Schwäbisch Gmünd. One of the most impressive buildings in Schwäbisch Gmünd is the "Forum Gold und Silber", a beautiful structure and a must-see if visit 'the Jewel of Southern Germany'. Schwäbisch Gmünd is one of the most exciting destinations for city tourists, whether for a varied day trip or for a longer stay.

Ehingen Donau - Not a typical tourist destination for British, but for sure the Germans know the secret of this destination. A town mixed with 1700 & 1800 buildings mixed with new commercial buildings. Many businesses in the town family run and owned for 150 years. Jewelers, cafes, bars restaurants, specialist bicycle shop , bakeries everything you can want in a relaxing environment with hardly and vehicles at all! You could walk through and around the town in 20minutes but will want to do again and again. 3 historical beautiful churches all worth visiting. A park with a Lake, everything to make a relaxing day and night.

Reutlingen is a beautiful little town between hills --> a possibility to climb on top of 2 hills! Sommer cafe is the best bakery, cafe and restaurant. A walk at the old mill and Echaz river is best in early morning. Close to Metzingen and shopping in Outlet village. Tubingen old town or Bad Urach waterfalls are great places to visit.

It is a great city for shopping, very small town with the best shops. If you want to get the best stuff on cheaper prices, this is the city to go. I think one day was enough for shopping, but some more days would have been nice just to look around as well.

There are probably a couple of dozen significant old town...

There are probably a couple of dozen significant old town centres in Germany. Some, like Bamberg, are absolute gems; Schwabish Gmund isn't, with only a handful of interesting churches and other buildings. There is too much traffic in the pedestrianised areas and very little choice for evening dining.

Tuttlingen is located in a beautiful part of Germany, surrounded by the Black Forest. The castle ruins, around which the town in centered, are beautiful, definitely worth seeing. Apart from that, there is not much to do in the town, at least in the winter. There are some lovely hiking areas nearby, such as Fürstlicher Park. You should probably hire a car to make the most of this area. Really amazing nature and scenery.
