This is an absolutely magical place. A completely wooden house, smelling of wood accordingly. A fireplace, which is more than relevant in Estonia and turns the evenings into something special. Very cozy, has everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen. A huge window on the entire wall with a view of the lake. In the evening, you can watch the sunset right from the house or from the porch.
And a 10-minute drive away is a forest full of berries and mushrooms (we were there at the end of August)
If possible, we will gladly return here...

This inn is like out of a fairytale. We stumbled upon it by chance, and not turning around and staying there was the best decision we could make that night. Serene old country house surrounded by a beautiful garden, with a wonderful host, and just an amazing local breakfast. It is definitely not your typical modern inn - and that is its greatest advantage. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Great, thoughtfully appointed cabin right across the street from a sandy beach. Every cabin is equipped with a charcoal grill and basic grilling tools such as tongs and skewers. We took advantage of this great resource and cooked up some shashlik! Not something we’re typically able to do on a vacation abroad. Watching the sunset on the beach was great.

The owners were so extremely helpful and full of information, we learnt so much while here. The restaurant food was delicious and well priced.
Our accommodation had everything we needed and more, comfortable and warm which is very important in the winter. If I was to come back to the area, I would most definitely be staying here again.

Pity that there is no breakfast available (breakfast basket is rather expensive and not that attractive). Restaurant in Lainela territory (Kaspervik) is very expensive and not a lot of choice. Nice rooms, beautiful view, great place for quiet vacation.

Ülle was the most kind host we met so far. Nice place, cozy cabin and interesting hikes and natural surroundings. Ülle even offered us fresh chicken eggs from her henhouse. Totally worth visit.

We were in vosu for the Laheema National Park.
We were in vosu for the Laheema National Park. We were hiking on late October, 3 days, 3 diffrent trails, each were different eco systems and very satified with the experince. Trails were nicely marked, not dangeous, very scenic. Ps: day time temperature degrees were like 5 centigrates without snow and rain, we were informed that were lucky about this. We come here with a rental car. It is the best choice to reach different trails. But vosu has bus connection from Tallinn. Town center has a good market you can find pretty much everything. I believe this is the low season and it was crowded at all.

Beatiful and calm neighborhood with plenty possibilities to walk around in the nature. Eating possibilities are limited because the nearest neighbours are 6-7 km away. Still there is plenty activity possibilities in Vihula Manor itselt (museums, sports activities, trekking).

Käsmu is , quite simply one of the most unspoiled, serene and beautiful villages in the whole world. The views out across the bay are balm to the soul and walks in the primeval forests (nature's cathedral) and the peninsula are wonderful. The little church is charming with an organ, if you can manage to catch a service or concert, that is a musical marvel. Parts of this venerable instrument are over 300 years old! The informative and elegant Sea Museum, once a school for sailors, will tell you the history of the fine ships built here and the brave souls of the "Captain's Village" who sailed the seven seas in the 19th century.
The village is still quite remote and careful planning is needed to get there by public transport. Direct buses go from Tallinn or there are buses from the local hub at Rakvere but these are few and far between. But Käsmu is well worth the effort and there are several excellent guest houses to stay in when you arrive ...
