We were taken to this hotel following an overbooking at our previous reservation. The reception staff welcomed us late at night and found us last-minute accommodation, fulfilling our requests as best they could. In the days that followed, all the staff were always kind and available to help us and offer advice of any kind. We would especially like to thank Bahgat,Youssef, Zeyad, and the breakfast staff, which was always good and plentiful.

Unique experience different from a "normal" hotel. The tour of the black and white deserts was incredible. Amazing they can provide the level of comfort in such a remote location.

I booked a night's stay at the hotel and owing to the prompt and effective communication with the owner, Mr. Ahmed, I ended up arranging a 2-day trip from Cairo (and back) to visit the White Desert and Bahariya Oasis with pitstops at Black mountain, Crystal mountain and the lake at Bahariya. The trip was very well arranged as the car, the driver and the experiences exceeded my expectations. Farafra is far and remote but we felt very safe at the hotel and staying close to the desert meant that we got more time to witness the magnificent beauty of the desert without camping or taking a long drive back to Bahariya/Bawiti after dark. The hotel itself was clean and very suitable for a night's stay. The staff was considerate to prepare food as per our dietary preferences. Overall, if one has time for a long drive from Cairo, I recommend arranging the stay and the trip with Rahala Safari Hotel to enjoy the wonders of the white desert.

The place could be Nice, but it is not well taken care of and little care is take.

Unexpectedly good hotel for such a remote place. Staff well trained and polite, spotless clean. Good hot water, nice breakfast. Special thanks to Mr Mohamed Ali and Ahmed the front desk manager. If you come to Kharga - noo need to choose the hotel, just come to Badr!
