Great island to get away, very hard to cycle as the road is...
Great island to get away, very hard to cycle as the road is terrible, get an electric bike, it at least helps with the hills. The walks are lovely but there is NO SHADE, NO FACILITIES so take all food and water and sun hat. You can swim in the beaches on the south and they are lovely, quite strong waves but good to cool you down as you walk back. We only stayed 3 days so didn't have time to do other walks which we would have liked to do . You need a good map to get you to apartment on your first day, as its really hard to drag suitcases through the sand. Patisserie, was good for breakfast and lunch rolls. We found only 1 place that served breakfast but it was very good. Several restaurants for evening. Nothing on rest of island.

La Graciosa is such a beautiful island and a wonderful place...
La Graciosa is such a beautiful island and a wonderful place to stay for some peace and tranquility. We loved the whole trip from start to end. Lunch in Órzola, the ferry trip, the lovely people on the island and fabulous food and local bars. Our apartment had a stunning view with a lovely terrace, we were so close to the sea, nearby beaches and other amenities We will definitely be back!

The beaches are amazing, especially Playa La Francesa.
The beaches are amazing, especially Playa La Francesa. Very quiet place when we travelled and the restaurants that were open for us to visit, the food was good but not as good as the TripAdvisor ratings!!
