Lovely place isolated from the crowds. They have done an amazing job turning this Monastery into a beautiful complex and hotel. I picked it by chance as we needed to make a stop on our way to Tarragona and it was a real surprise. Staff was very kind and helpful, facilities fantastic and the possibility of visiting the monastery as part of the stay was absolutely lovely. I strongly recommend this place!

A very nice hotel situated in a small, charming village. The hotel is right off the main square, on which you can find the gastrobar which is part of the enterprise. I advise you to check out the gastrobar as well, excellent food at very reasonable prices. The hotel itself is in a renovated townhouse, the rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. Even though there was a concert on the main square on the night we arrived, we did not hear anything with the window closed. The breakfast is also very good. The staff is very helpful, not everyone speaks English, but they are very professional - very responsive on Whatsapp. Check in is easy - you get shown to your room, later can open it with a code. We also met the owner of the place, very nice guy. The village itself is also quiet and a cool place to visit. As for parking, we were told to find a spot somewhere in the village and it was easy, very close to the main square. The streets are sometimes narrow, but nothing really difficult, especially that there is very little traffic.

I loved everything about it, it was very enchanting and especially the representation of the hotel as a castle, it was like living a childhood dream and I was able to share it with my 4-year-old daughter. I was also very happy to hear several sequences of Brazilian music....because I'm Brazilian and I hardly ever hear Brazilian music in public places and especially in a hotel..... It was very pleasant.

Zaragoza is not only spectacular but also easy to get around; although it’s a large city, it doesn’t feel overwhelming, and transportation within the city—as well as connections to other cities—is excellent. The location may put some people off. Don’t let it. Once inside you could be in any good quality city hotel. Friendly, helpful staff where nothing is too much trouble. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. We had a room for three adults and there was plenty of room. The food in the cafeteria was good quality and reasonably priced. Basic Spanish village catering to the fishing community.

Basic Spanish village catering to the fishing community. Fishing shops are expensive and at this time of the year there are not a lot of restaurants or bars open. Fishing spots can get a bit crowded and May is the month that the fish start spawning so they are not so easy to catch. Great scenery if your into that, with the castle on the top of the hill. Not a lot else to see unless you travel to surrounding villages for churches etc.

I love this little town - I was whisked back to 1000 years ago and I walked and walked around - fascinating. I enjoyed every minute. If you have time, eat at the Michelin restaurant called La Cocina del Principal. I was surprised that it was quite inexpensive - a glass if good wine was 4€ and the food was delicious.
