The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and cozy. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the backyard with a quiet stream and lush trees in plain view. The gentleman who greeted us was very kind and advised us not to park on the streets as trucks /lorries often pass by. He told us to go through the narrow black gate to park. Lovely, small grocery store just a couple businesses away. Seamus Heaney's landmarks nearby.

Sheila was an incredibly warm and welcoming host, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms exceeded all of our expectations with their impeccable cleanliness and tasteful decor. The breakfast provided was absolutely superb, setting us up perfectly for a day. The location of the accommodation was idyllic and peaceful, providing a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle. It was also conveniently close to the town and all of the attractions, allowing us easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. Overall, our stay was nothing short of perfect and we would not hesitate to return in the future. The care and attention to detail put into the rooms and service were truly exceptional, making our visit a memorable and enjoyable experience. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Templepatrick is a quiet village with few facilities but close to airport and two popular hotel wedding venues. Easily accessible by frequent airport buses and easy travel to Belfast. A car is needed to travel further afield and to access shops other than the local small supermarket,

Welcoming host, very important. When asked if Elizabeth could facilitate making us soup and sandwiches after a long day of travelling she didn’t disappoint and at a fair price too, all homemade! Breakfast was perfect bacon and scrambled eggs were devine. Room was very comfortable and I must say the bed and linen felt like I’d fallen into a cloud we had a perfect sleep. Thankyou Elizabeth

A delightful town. No traditional restaurants though - just fast good eating places. Similar in Antrim, though some are available a little further away. Well placed fairly central in Northern Ireland, so possible to visit in all directions. Belfast easily accessible.

We went to Bellaghy to attend a John Cooper Clarke recital in the Seamus Heaney Home Place. There was an excellent pub there called the Tap House where we had a gorgeous meal at a reasonable price. Bellaghy is compact so shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Also a beautiful Board Walk to Church Island, about 5 minutes by car from the village.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Belfast. Take the train to downtown instead of trying to find a place to park. Its a 15 minute ride and costs less than 2 hours of parking for the round trip. The countryside is just beautiful and serene. This was the highlight of our month in Ireland.

Stay: 14 Jan – 15 Jan, 1 night, Antrim

Stay: 14 Jan – 15 Jan, 1 night, Antrim I had a wonderful stay at Antrim Heights Estate. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the serene atmosphere and beautiful country views, which immediately created a sense of calm and relaxation. The accommodation itself was extremely comfortable and impeccably clean, making it easy to feel at home. What truly stood out, however, was the warm and professional hospitality provided by the lovely couple who run the estate — they made every effort to ensure my stay was pleasant and stress-free. Overall, my experience was amazing, and I would highly recommend Antrim Heights Estate to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and high-quality place to stay in Antrim. Thank you for making my short visit so enjoyable — your attention to detail and care for guests is truly appreciated.

Ideal quiet location even if you don’t golf. Easy access and plenty of parking. We were surprised how big the hotel was as we have stayed at Double Trees before and they were small. Good value for a 4 Star hotel and staff were very attentive
