"Bruges is a fairytale! It was beautiful, less busy than other popular destinations, and had so many things to do! We found a lot of delicious food and loved how walkable the city was. Would recommend 10/10. I want to go back!"

"Went to Ostend to attend the Ostend Beach Festival. I enjoyed a sunny morning at the beach. It was quite crowded and windy that day, but still a great atmosphere. In the evening, I had a lot of fun at the festival. Overall, I had enough time to relax on the beach, explore the city, and enjoy the beautiful weather."

Also recommend visiting St. George's Memorial Church just off the main square. Ypres is super convenient for visiting nearby WW1 sites."

Thoroughly lovely place to visit and explore and being on a train line there is easy access to Lille and other towns in Belgium. Also being only 1.5 hours from calais it's super quick to get there. The perfect location. Easily accessable, you are in the middle.of the city. There are.lots of restaurants and bars around. Very helpful guidance from the hotel. Where to park, where to go etc . Very happy with the purchase. The room that we stayed was a little bit small but just one night was bearable.

Bruges is a truly magical destination defined by its breathtaking architecture and scenic canals. Although the vibe feels wonderfully authentic, be ready for large crowds. To enjoy it fully, I suggest hitting Market Square early in the morning before the tourist influx begins. The city is very walkable and creates a deeply romantic backdrop for couples, especially at night when the historic landmarks are lit up. All things considered, Bruges is a must-visit spot as long as you account for the heavy foot traffic.

Wonderful beach with loads of restaurants and cafes.

Wonderful beach with loads of restaurants and cafes. Really enjoyed the beach restaurants for a sundowner or beer. The beach restaurants have limited meals (only snacks), but more than enough restaurants close by with choices that will suit anyone. We enjoyed the Casino on the beach, ate oysters on the promenade and had a nice pizza at one of the restaurants. More than enough to do for a long weekend stay

Middlekerke is a lovely seaside town with everything on your doorstep for a relaxing or adventurous vacation. The promenade takes you all along the coastline and bikes are avaiable to hire. The coast tram is exceptional value for money. There are many lifeguard stations along the coast giving the littleones a safe play in the sea. Lols of sovenier shops and everyday shops in easy walking, and lots to choose from for eating and drinking out, The beach bars are a really relaxing place to spend a couple of hours.,or try a flutter in the new casino. This is your seaside holiday with more.

Not many British people stop in Belgium when going to Europe. I like Belgium, I like their chips and I like Moules & Frites. The beer is pretty good too :) The whole of the Belgium coast is a beach. Nearest to the ferries is "De Panne". You can catch a tram all the way along the coast to Knokke close to the Dutch border. You can easily cyle along as well and bring your bikes back on the Tram. Oostende is a must to visit too. Everyone speaks Engish almost all everywhere in Belgium.. There used to be a direct car ferry from Dover to Oostende, I wish they would bring it back. We stopped off at Mons earlier in the week, and I hope we can visit Ypres on our next visit.

Ypres is the jewel in the crown of WW1 restoration.

Ypres is the jewel in the crown of WW1 restoration. An ideal blend of history and modern thinking, e.g. a Queen tribute band outside the cloth hall may seem incongruous, but was a perfect example of life going on.
