The staff was amazing, the food at the restaurant was great and good value. The location was perfect for us as we needed to travel to Faraba/Sanyang daily. We avoided the traffic and when we did need to go to the beach, it was only a 25min drive.

With garden views, Little's Nature Retreat is located in Kartung and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge.

definitely the best place after three weeks in the gambia! the rooms have everything you need, the garden is beautiful and the foooood - soo good! it’s just 4 minutes to the beach where you can also find a very nice beach bar 🌞

Had an amazing stay at Happy Corner Beach Garden. The hospitality was truly excellent and everyone made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. A special mention to the lovely dogs there especially Lili, who was so sweet, cute, and friendly the entire time. She honestly made the experience even more special. Also, the staff member who attended to us was such a kind and cheerful man, always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed at all times. His service and positive attitude really stood out. Overall, it was a beautiful and relaxing experience, and I would definitely recommend Happy Corner Beach Garden to anyone visiting The Gambia.

We were looking for a small, family run concern that offered personal touches and that's exactly what we got at Tendinkoto. Oliver and Helen are a great team and their food (Gambian and European options are available) is delicious. They catered not only for our dietary needs (3 meals a day) but were also great company at our evening meals,when we would sit around the table chatting together. Our room was very spacious and clean and the bed was large and super comfortable. Little touches in the room, e.g. binoculars, torch, playing cards, speaker, were thoughtful additions. A big and beautifully maintained swimming pool was a blessing after a day out birdwatching in the heat. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
