Livadia is a really nice town worth visiting, and a stay at Theoxenia makes the stay even more memorable. The Hotel is located in the old town, high above the river and the new town and has its own parking. Expect a modern and well-equipped hotel with great views away from the noise of the new town (you will hear the rushing water of the river below). And staff that is incredibly helpful and very friendly.

When we pulled up to the guesthouse after following google maps up winding cobblestone streets, our hostess was so kind in welcoming us and directing us to appropriate parking. The building was very charming, quiet, quaint, and clean. Our balcony looked over the dramatic view of the mountain valley. We loved that this is a local family business run by a lovely and welcoming husband and wife. It was the best!

Everything is so nice. Especially the hot shower. Environment is charming. Room is super clean and shower is the best of all the hotels I had in Greece. The guy who helped me up the room is also so warm. I highly recommend this hotel if you are on a road trip. In addition, the lamb roast was super delicious.

We stayed only one night, this was an extempore decision to stop there after our summer holiday in Evia island. Worth to visit also during the summer, not only at winter. Green, fresh air, not so crowded (and better prices of course). Nice historic buildings and surroundings well maintained.

Aliki is a wonderful little seaside village and one of the highlights of our trip. The beach is beautiful, with crystal-clear water and a peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing. We also loved the restaurants—there are plenty of excellent options serving fresh seafood and delicious local cuisine. Everything is within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy the village at your own pace. If you're looking for a charming, authentic Greek destination with a stunning beach and great food, Aliki is definitely worth visiting. We would happily come back!

An important ancient city, located on the way between Athens and Pillion. Convenient if you land in the evening and travel north. Nice restaurants and evening life. Amazing historical museum. Don't miss it.

Authentic Greek town

Authentic Greek town A perfect place for those looking for a quiet, natural sea but a short drive or public transport away from the city and markets of Athens. Beautiful in all seasons, a Greek resort town without too many external tourists, which maintains its authenticity. We will definitely come again

This was our first night's stop after a 24 hour airplane...

This was our first night's stop after a 24 hour airplane ride. We wanted to stay outside of Athens. Livadeia was about a 2 hour, not very interesting drive, but well worth it. The Park and River walk was among the highlights of our 3.5 week trip...which included other fabulous places like Parga, Monodendri, Pramanta, Meteora+++ We have friends who visit Athens yearly, sent them photos, and they have now included a visit to Livadeia a priority. This was our first time traveling around Greece's mainland, and I am so happy we discovered Livadeia. We would definitely come back...and hopefully with friends. We love hiking, and did some wonderful hikes in the area.

Arachova is not the place to have rounds with your car, Main...

Arachova is not the place to have rounds with your car, Main Street is very narrow with two car lanes!!! There are public parking lots, two of them just right after the village. Really worth the burden to visit the ancient sightseeing’s. Further to this the food is great and tasty, there are also a huge variety of suvenirs to get with you

We stayed in Arachova for one night for our visit to Delphi in June. It was a perfect location to stay for a visit to the site. It is a picturesque mountain village with great shopping, restaurants and views.
