This was our second stay at Apartment Marija. It is a perfect, relaxing stop during a long road trip. This time the weather was nice and we made a tour of Slavonski Brod which was lovely. The location of the apartment was perfect for our needs and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. The apartment is nice, spacious, clean and well equipped. Good heating system, in the bathroom as well. There is an air conditioner as well. Comfortable beds. There is a safe big parking space (in the yard). The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The host was able to allow us an earlier check-in which was much appreciated. Very easy check-in and chect-out. Very good price for the quality. As last time, we enjoyed a lot our stay and would stay there again.

My girlfriend and I were traveling late and we found this place at almost midnight. The host responded very quickly and helped us get settled. The apartment was fenomenal and we were sorry for staying just a single night.

Slavonski Brod was a very pleasant surprise and turned out to be a great city for a family stay. It was quiet enough in the morning not to wake us up too early, yet lively and interesting enough on the Korzo in the evening to give us plenty to do. I do not know what it is like during the rest of the year, but we visited at the end of May and it was truly lovely. From walks along the Sava River and through the fortress, to the museums, parks, Korzo, numerous sculptures, and very pleasant locals, the city offered much more than we expected. Calm, authentic, family-friendly, and definitely worth a visit. A visit to the Biergarten is a must for Slavonian beer and dinner.

It is a lovely town. Not too big or small.
It is a lovely town. Not too big or small. A lovely fresh market and park. We were on our way through Bosnia so it was a perfect half point stop for us. I felt safe and comfortable. The apartment was perfect- clean and new with attention to detail. The owner was very prompt and helpful. We recommend Nova Gradiska as a place to visit. It would be better to have a minimum of 2 days.

The restaurant is not open beginning of the week. don’t have any food available. There’s a small print to tell you that. It’s ok for one night,but for longer stay is not comfortable,there are no lift as well ,if you can’t climb the stairs you are stuck.

Stara Kapela is a magical and enchanting experience of what it would have been like in the 17 th century - early 20 th century Slavonia . The interior detail and authentic exterior and garden and hosts were unbelievable. Highly recommend . Please stay here

We are visiting Slavonski Brod for third time for a night due to long travel by car. The city is nice and calm, so it is a good place to relax! We visited Restaurant "Jelen" and were completely satisfied with the good food and service!

Nova Gradiska is a nice place to make a stop. It's quiet, has a little park, a nice church and shops too. We dined in a cozy restaurant and the food has exceeded our expectations. And because wherever you go you interact with people, I can tell you that here the croatian people were friendly and hospitable.

.we booked room with balcony/patio, after arrival there was none available….
Expected arrival time was 21-22h, we arrived 21:30 and although while booking i asked in the special request box reservation for dinner in their restaurant, when we Arrived and wanted to have dinner, they informed us that their restaurant kitchen closes at 2130 ? Staff excellent and offered us drinks and snacks

Slavonski Brod a very safe place to stay and walk around clean tidy un spoiled. Some excellent restauranters bars i think the only draw back is that they still allow smoking in places where you eat but this is changing.
this place is full of history too.
