United StatesMagnificent hotel. Our experience at Roccia was truly exeptional in all levels. Roccia is a hidden jewel, and our family and I realized quickly that we found a treasure. The hotel owner and staff were lovely, attentive, and contantly eager to serve us and the clients with love, professionalism, and elegance. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The sea view was spectacular as it overlooked the gorgeous sea in a balcony, decorated with beautiful Mediterranean flowers and plants. The sunsets are breathtaking. Siting on the balcony garden and watching the sunsets was a highlight of the trip. There are olive trees, fig trees, rosemary, lavender, and carefully landscaped plants that inspired peace, awe, joy, and love.
The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. There were homemade Mediterranean eggs, sausages, bacon, a variety of homemade breads, charcuterie style hams, cheeses, yogurts, juices, and fruits. It was served with elegance, and it was easy to taste the love it was prepared with. The restaurant overlooks the sea and the food is excellent.
The management is excellent. The owner was intentionally available to us and all the clients. The staff spoke to us with a welcoming smile, and this made our experience wonderful, especially because we have a very small baby and two toddlers.
The hotel has a walkway to the sea and a beach which is made of beautiful rocks and breathtaking views. It was just lovely and heavenly. We were in constant awe of the scenery, the excellent customer service, and the beauty of God's creation in such a wonderful hotel. The town the hotel is in a town filled with history, antiques, and pure island living.
The hotel felt like a 5 star 🌟 hotel. It's heavenly. I highly recommend it. It was magnificent. May God bless this hotel, the owner, the staff, and may it continue to grow so wonderfully.

Our stay here was wonderful.
The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice, whether we went early or late. If you look at the pictures, that is what you will be presented with every day, plus the choice of omelettes etc cooked to order.
The garden is beautiful, with just a few steps down to the quayside and pebble beaches. There are sunbeds permanently available in the garden.
The beach does get busy with families enjoying the clear, calm beaches. My photos are from early morning, before everyone arrives. It also gets quieter in the evening, and its the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down.
Sunbeds for the hotel guests to use on the quayside are available - you just help yourself from the store and put them back when you've finished - there were always some available.
The room we had (a triple - x3 singles) was newly decorated, immaculately clean, with an outside kitchen and views over the sea.
Parking was plentiful and easy. If you want to see the local area then a car is essential, but it would be easy stay in the bay. There are so many restaurants to choose from, all within walking distance. The beach bar next to the hotel is inexpensive and friendly.
The hotel allowed us a late check out on departure day and everyone was happy to help answer any questions we had.
All in all, for us it was perfect.

Just in front of beach ! amazing sunsets 🌅 wow . Owners took care about everything, beach beds for free , you can get drinks during the day straight from bar ! Breakfast was very good and fresh.. especially homemade jams yummy !! They should start selling them to guests :) Clean rooms & 100% cotton bed linen! Host very helpful and beautiful people .! Super 👌 thank you , Hvala ;) highly recommend

Great stay! Despite a language barrier, our host was so kind and greeted us with shots of some local liquor. Note that we were asked to pay there. We thought we were paying online, as the site said, but we saw that we had not been charged so we paid in cash.
Lovely place to go swimming right off their dock if it was warmer! 5 min from Paklenica park and a great restaurant - Taverna Konoba Marasović. Highly recommend

The apartment boasts a breathtaking sea view that we never got tired of. Our host was incredibly kind and accommodating — they allowed us to change our booking date without any extra fees, which we truly appreciated. On top of that, the Easter stay came with a lovely surprise that made the experience even more special. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

One of the best stays in Croatia, the host is very friendly, helpful and he smiles all the time.
The room was huge and for the money simply unbeatable.

Fantastic climbing venue, if that's your thing.
Fantastic climbing venue, if that's your thing. Friends said the walking was good too.
Not that busy in October and we were lucky with the weather. Adequate shopping facilities and a nice little taverna about 10 minutes walk from our apartment.

The surroundings are mesmerising.
The surroundings are mesmerising. The connection of sea and mountains is something very calming. In the morning, you can go for a hike and climb, and then spend the rest of the day at the beach - which is not crowded even in the peak season.

It's a beautiful, cozy small village with nice views and beach.
No crowd but there are groceries, market, bar and beach. Also you can visit the near national park for climbing or hiking where Winnetou was filmed.
I can recommend it for 1-3 days.

You need a car, although there is a bus stop very close to the apartment. Starigrad is just a few minutes away - nice restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream, swimming etc. There is a good supermarket there and good facilities for cooking in the apartment if you want to eat at home - otherwise you'd need a car to go out to eat - no problem as it's a short drive. Beautiful coastline. Very nice place to stay if you want some peace and quiet.

If you're looking to visit Paklenica National Park,...
If you're looking to visit Paklenica National Park, Šibuljina is a great place to start off. There's quite a few camping spots (mainly for cars and busses, though), Appartments and Rooms for rent in the surrounding area - most of them right by the water!
You'll find a few small supermarkets, bakeries and even souvenir booths along the way.
The town itself doesn't have much to offer, but it's a beautiful and quiet (!) place to relax for a few days and maybe plan a tour to Paklenica (for hiking, climbing etc). You should definitely plan for some time there!
It's easiest to get around by car - there aren't many footpaths aside from the paved and very busy main street leading to Paklenica and other places.

A small city with a lot to do.
A small city with a lot to do. Not too crowded, with a living night life. This is a city that is not well known yet and it is evolving tourist wise. Best thing for price/quality. Parking are cheap or free, restaurants are not too expensive...

Great base for trips around Dalmatia.
Great base for trips around Dalmatia. Nature parks are at your fingertips. Without the car, I would be bored in Seline. The beach is low end. If you like to drive, the beautiful beaches and the city of Zadar are within an hour's drive. Paklenica Park is right next to Seline and the others are also about an hour away by car.

Our stay was beyond our expectations, the room was super clean and sea view was awesome! Breakfast was good and especially value for money overall was the best. I really recommend this place if you are staying for a few days. Also I would like to thank a host for his hospitality.

Starigrad Paklenica is an interesting blend between sea and mountain, a place like no other.. You can enjoy what the sea has to offer you, boat trips, snorkeling, etc, and furthermore, having a nice hike in the mountains, maybe climbing up the walls in the National Park, where you can find the climb experts waiting to teach you how to safely walk up the walls...
You can really find here good food, nice people and beautiful places like Vecka Kula Beach, Riviera Paklenica, Velebit National Park, Cernovac Caves and the rest of them, I invite you to discover yourself traveller..
